TAR...15 Ball Rotation Please

What am I missing on WHY 15 ball rotation isn't played in the all arounds? All rotation games have rack issues but 15 ball. Am I the only one that would like to see the top players playing it on the TAR 9' equelizer table or a Diamond 10'? You will see a lot of bumping balls for position or bump to make paths for later position. Tons of combos, kiss shots, and caroms. At the highest level it's a great game to watch and see shots you hardly ever see in other games Johnnyt

I'd vote for that. See (first) if justin gives a shit what we ask for. He's correct in that people don't (sometimes) want what they even CLAIM they want. They just want to want it.

That said, even if it did get representation, learning to play 9 ball is about opportunity recognition. It's not just playing the rules, its knowing the game - fluently... and perhaps more so for 8B and OP increastingly so. But rotation is a game nearly none are familiar with...

10 Ball gets the job done just fine enough as it is.

Ten ball has become a who has the break down. You can't just throw your money on SVB anymore...a lot of the pack have caught him or are getting very cloes to him on the 10-ball break. Johnnyt

For these top pros, every game is about who has the break down. Because they all can shoot lights out.

About 15 ball? I would like seeing it once or twice. But, most would claim to like it. But it is probably too slow and many would not fully appreciate the skill that actually takes place in the game. As for JCIN, are you sure he has even considered it? maybe you could pm him before posting the question. He seems to be open for suggestions to me. But, maybe you already have?

No pros in the US play or practice it from what i have seen. So you are basically asking for 2 Filipinos and that isnt easy to coordinate for TAR.

Just an aside-When Alcano first came to the USA, he told me he was getting a 15 point spot in Rotation from Busty. Now I imagine it's even up

I agree. I learned it before I learned 9-ball & I think it would be very interesting to watch & the 'general public' would probably like it, once it was explained.
