I absolutely love the light blue/white linen, and was wondering if this shade of blue is still available; either retail or private? I have a hard time locating linen when looking to see what is available. I have noticed some dark blue/white, but that looks so much like black/white. I hate black/white linen (I know that is a strong word, but it's true).

Any other (light color)/white linen out there? I love the older light green/white, and would really like to see some other shades.

Thanks for the help, guys.

Josh

Both Atlas and Prather show a white/blue.

Atlas has a small pic so its hard to see. It does look a little darker blue.

Prather shows a better pic and may be closer to the light blue you are looking for.

I've got a McDermott with the light blue/white linen from Atlas on it. It is darker than the pic you posted the link to, but that could be from age also.

I'll post a pic of the light blue/white linen wrap I have later on tonight when I get home from work. It is also a brand new wrap too, just put on 2 weeks ago and not even shot with yet so it will give you a good idea what it looks like new.

Awesome, thank you. For some reason, I always forget about Prather.

"I hate black/white linen (I know that is a strong word, but it's true)."

I hope you're prepaird for an unhappy life - as discussed in a previous
thread, black/white is so overwhelmling popular it "outsells' all the
other colors COMBINED.

I would also add that during the discussion of the white linen wrap it was pointed out by several that light colored wraps get dirty quickly and are hard to get clean again.

Good points, guys.

Yeah, I know what you mean, Dale. When I buy a cue, if it has black/white linen, it will go immediately to Cory Barnhart for a re-wrap. Also, I will never order a cue with that linen.

Really doesn't bother me that it gets dirty. I tend to look at it as character. I love the patina old linen acquires; especially Cortland (and the like). Hell, that is why I like Micarta ferrules. I might be the only person who likes the aged, orange/yellow look. Always reminds me of a creamsicle.

That wrap is white with blue, not blue and white. Big difference in coloring and both are available. The predominant color (in this case white) is always first in the description. Might save having a surprise when the package arrives.

Boy oh boy, I have a cue you would love the look of - at least
the look of the ferrule.

IMHO - you will only get the creansicle orange on a ferrule that isnt
sealed.

is that a D-12?

With not much pic top go off of, that's a damn good eye poolshooter.

YES, that is a D-12 that I bought 27 years ago when I was 16 years old and still have it to this day. Don't shoot with it anymore but I refuse to get rid of it.
