Buffalo Billiards, 40K match last night. The worlds pool hall!

Antonin Scalia said, "That bill is like 2,000 pages and more. Do you really expect me and my clerks to read it all?" Of course, John Roberts did read it.

The benefits to medicare beneficiaries by including preventive services that are not a part of Medicare were increased, and, of course, beginning August 1st, the preventive services for women are available.

Better take heed ---> NOW!

So how was it a 40k match? Did they "Lock" (sorry had to throw that in looking at the other posts in the thread) up for 2 sets?

This must be hard to understand! If player R, puts up $20,000 and Player K, puts up $20,000, then how much is the pot and the match for? To me it would be a $40,000 match and pot total!!! Bufalo held the money and it was cash.
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

Yes but a rose is the visible result of an infinitude of complicated goings on in the bosom of the earth and in the air above, and similarly a work of art is the product of strange activities in the human mind.

Kind of a naive question.

About 12 years ago, Grady once began (very appropriately) imploring members of rec.sport.billiards to stop posting by the players' real names or road names, accounts of who won what and where. He spoke of commonsense IRS implications that could and actually did ensue to a few players who were being regularly mentioned online (and subsequently began being IRS-tracked and also had dimes dropped on them by losers).

It's not a big stretch to conclude that the accounts (online) of big wins were largely innocent enthusiasm by the posters, but occasionally vengefully motivated by disgruntled losers and/or backers who basked in the anonymity of an online handle.

Dear LockNLoad,

Every time I read one of your posts where you say Buffalo Billiards, and then add "the worlds poohall" it drives me bonkers. You sound like a cheap used car salesman, or an old time traveling salesman of magical elixers. I enjoy most everything else that you post, but that one thing has been bugging me for months! LOL.

I'm not sure if you've gotten a hard time about this yet, but I thought I'd be the first to poke a little fun at ya. All in good fun LNL.

best,

Jhanso18 " The Worlds Ball-Buster"

I have played pool from the west to the east, and from the north to the south in the USA. With that being said I have been to many many pool halls all over. There are some nice pool halls, there are some not so nice pool halls. It is hard to find a pool hall that has 2 free pool tournaments a week. one 9 ball tournament and one One pocket tournament, Free to enter. Buff puts up the pot. There are 2 smoke machines in the pool hall to get rid of smoke. Nice people working there. Pool tables kept up perfect. Poker machines 3 of them, pay out is good too. One once a month tournament, the first Saturday of the month. $20.00 entry fee.
Buff adds 600.00 to the pot out of his pocket.

There are 10 flat screen TV's in there with cable and disc Network all the sports channels and all the games foot ball and base ball, basket ball golf. I could go on and on, but I am on my lunch break at work.
I am not trying to force anyone into thinking my way about Buffalo Billiards.
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

I think it's rather easy to skip over things that aren't to our liking. Isn't it much more of an effort to bash someone for posting something you don't like or agree with?

btw, I'm not referring to the posts containing egregious content where, I would definitely agree, a good electronic slap to the back of the noggin would be in order.

and finally, I've said it before and I'll say it again:

"the crux of the biscuit is the apostrophe".

thx for the clarity Mr. Zappa. ;)

best,

Not to mention that I said in the thread that I promised not to post the players names. Maybe I should go back and read my thread again!
I do have a word.
