I am not upset by anything you have written, FWIW. You have handled yourself in this thread with dignity and integrity when confronted with opposite views on the subject matter. I applaud you for this. :smile:
Some male posters on this forum target women thread after thread. They get irate to see a woman post an opposing view to theirs, and thereafter tail-gate them on every thread possible in an effort to humiliate them. They dissect their words and single out whatever they can to ridicule the women posters of this forum. These are nothing more than male chauvinists with short digits. Sadly, they suffer from an inferiority complex in real life due to their own shortcomings, with an emphasis on the prefix "short." I don't back down from these kind of posters, and as such, it may create an unpleasant back-and-forth in a thread, providing a bad reading experience for the members of this forum.
For that, I apologize to you as the OP. You have every right to express your thoughts, and I thought you did so in a polite manner. Best regards! :smile:

One of my fondest road trips was going to Maine for that Joss season finale. I loved those white birch trees and the Moose signs. I never did see a real-live Moose, but there must be a lot of them in Maine. :grin-square:
One day before I die, I swear I'm coming back. I love it up there. In fact, I just learned I have family living there. I actually wouldn't mind moving to Maine. I enjoyed it that much, but I'm not sure I could fade those brutal winters. Man, you all do get some snow up there. :embarrassed2:

Just so you know, that Joss Tour Stop in waterville is in early October this year, 6&7 if I'm not mistaken
fall foliage will be nearly full, and I'm sure we could find a moose for you, if you really need to see one. They are rather impressive, at first I suppose. Kind of a pain in the tookus around here, cuz they move when they feel like it, and no sooner. So if there is one standing in the road, you wait. (In a car-moose collision, both sides lose. Very dangerous, especially in a sedan....you clip his legs out from under them, they're so tall. Guess where he lands? 1200 pounds, right in your lap.)So let me know if you two wanna hit the Joss stop in a few weeks, ok?

I had a farmer friend from Maine. He said that if you didn't shovel the cow poop out of the barn every day in the winter, it would grow to the ceiling in no time. You would have to be nuts to live up there unless you are addicted to lobster (Yum yum).

The winters here aren't as bad as most northern states, since we're on the ocean. (Or at least half the state gets that benefit.).
Upstate New York, or any of the northern mid west states have far worse winters than we do. Sure, it's a little rough in Jan and Feb, but it's not like we're at the Article Circle....
