Hey guys,

I have a friend who is looking for a 4 point traditional style cue with 4 veneers and no inlays. It can have a standard style butt cap or a Hoppe ring. He would also like a 5/16 x 14 ss joint and 2 shafts.

He did mention a few specific cue makers so I'll list then but he is open to others as well.

Richard Black
Kenny Murrell
PFD
Chudy (he would take one without the stainless joint)
Thomas Wayne
Josswest or maybe and old Joss
Eurowest
Runde
-R-
Bill McDaniel (would take a 6 or 8 point)
It's George
Jim Buss
Bender (doesn't have to be a stainless joint and obviously would be 5 point)

He's looking for it to be around $1200 or less and it needs to be straight or very close and in good condition. Please pm me if you have something available.

Thanks,
'Mash

Even In This Market.......

Your buddy has great taste in cue-makers and the cue resale market has been notoriously weak the past few years. However, even with this market, finding a cue from some of these cue-makers on his list in his price range is going to be a chore.

Not saying someone out there doesn't have something they don't want anymore and so they'll let it go at a reasonable price. However, truth be told is that some of the cue-makers he likes are more pricey than his budget except for perhaps a Merry Widow cue that comes sans veneers.

The Windy City Cue Show concludes this weekend so stay on the lookout for any sellers that brought their wares back home with them. You never know if anyone might be more inclined to deal if their cue(s) didn't sell at the show.

Can you please add specifics like min. or max. shaft diameter, cue weight, wrapless or type of wrap. Also, you mentioned no inlays however most McDaniel cues have inlays. Is your friend hard set on cues without any inlays?
Regards,
John

Bob,

You never cease to amaze me with gorgeous cues. That George cue is just a gem and I'm known to be really fussy when it comes to cues. It your cue was an ounce or so lighter and had an ivory joint, I'd give you $1500 for it. The cue just has a really great look and BOL if you start a thread listing the cue for sale.

I will sell this beautiful "It's George" completely refinished by Jack Madden with two of Jacks curly maple shafts. I call it my George Madden cue. All the inlays and ferrules are ivory. The white in the Bushka rings don't look like ivory to me so I'm going to say they are not. It has a really nice textured black leather wrap.

Everything is perfectly straight.

Butt 29 1/4" 15.7 oz
Shaft#1 is 4.5 oz. 12.8mm, 28 3/4" long, Black Kamui Med tip, test hit only 19 5/8" balance.
Shaft#2 is 4.3 oz, 12.8mm, 28 3/4" long, Black Kamui Med tip, Unchalked 19 1/2" balance.

Comes with a nice set of JP's

Cue is a real player, these shafts are Monsters and the cue hits really good. If you friend is looking for a special cue, this is it.

$1,000 shipped and insured in the CONUS only. No lower offers or trades on this one - Please.
Thanks for looking

Thanks for the offer and it's a realy nice cue but doen't fit the criteria.

Yea I know after I submitted the post I went back and read the thread and notice he didn't want inlays. Sorry. Oh well maybe someone else will want it. Good luck with your search.
