Yrying to Identify Old Cue

Please if anyone can Help . What is it . Reddish bumper glued on , has 19 right in the niddle of it . Looks like stained Sedia into maple forearm . Piloted joint with aluminum insert in butt . Joint collor and ferrel look to be Ivory . Phinolic ring under joint collor .

Thinking this was converted cue , in the 30's ????

Rubber or ???? Bumper does not apear to be rubber , very hard , wants to break when presure is applied to remove .

For some reason that joint looks like something a Canadian might do :smile: it's almost a Brunswick trophy style but the wood part of the pilot is too short.
Sorry I know that's not much help.

I am guessing European. Probably intended as a billiard cue. I have seen a number of German cues with a red bumper as well as Belgium I believe, and of course some of the very old Portuguese Sampaio cues.

Could it be the rubber has hardened with age?


I don't know the maker, but I would look in a European direction.
