Us Open Updates....

Remember the 'girly man' philipino break ain't gwanna get you by Shane. God he is breaking like God!

Dennis won!

I love these commentators live on the PPV accu-stats stream prior to the match without any regard for the audience that's listening.
Here is what caught my attention: "are we on the air?" "No" "I eat at the buffet here and got sick" Other commentator: " I will not eat their food because everyone has gotten sick. Matter of fact the feed didn't even look good visually."

My point is they are saying something that is true but they have completely disregarded that Holiday inn, their host and sponsor, is being portrayed in a bad light about their food accommodations for thousands of people watching live. Very unprofessional.

Hence the question, "are we on the air".

Dennis and SVB are going to have their hands full with each other. This should be an historic match. I've never seen Shane play in person, but I've seen every TAR match and all the videos on youtube. I was lucky to see Dennis play Lee Van in Manila in a money match and although I am a big SVB fan I think Dennis is the best short rack rotation game player on the planet. I'm really excited about this match. I think the outcome will depend on rolls, the break, and simply who is on tonight. Good luck to both Champs

Dennis and Alex are playing right now. real time score: Alex 2 Dennis 3
SVB is on the hill waiting for the winner of this match. 7:00pm Eastern start.

The way Dennis and Alex are playing it doesnt look like either of them will have a chance against Shane. Neither are playing their top game.

One thing to remember, though, is Shane will be going into it cold, while these two will be all warmed up! It can work to your advantage and disadvantage, I guess.

I wonder who Shane would rather play!

What is the ratio of past US Opens where the title winner came from the winner's side as compared to those that came from the loser's side?

Should be a good final.

And don't be surprised if Orcollo wins. He found his break spot and speed at the end of the semi-final match, making the wing 6-ball four times in a row with a cut break.

So -- smash break vs. cut break finals!

Soooo....what's the Mosconi Cup team look like now?

Now that the U.S. Open is about done and everyone's taken their places (and Shane's a lock for 1st), what's the team gonna be?

Oddity regarding Pagulayan:

2011 -- Undefeated going into final day. Loses hot-seat match and semi-final match. Finishes 3rd.

2012 -- same thing
