Why not have one where you could at least read them? Make it so no one could ever post in them again instead of deleting.

They got deleted because the owner and the mods don't want that kind of material on here. And you think they might consider a "hall of fame" for them?????

Whats at the end of most of those may not be pretty but there is a ton of great replies before they got there... Some of my best work is in those hallowed halls.

Don't be confused, the owner, mod's might not have cared for them, although they let them go for how many pages, but the people who frequent this forum were actually enjoying it I thought. Then again I could be wrong.

Kind of like sweet and sour pork. :embarrassed2:

Sometimes the mods will lock a thread so it can be read but not posted on.

A deleted/locked thread hof would be cool...or would that be hos?

IMO the thread in question was kind of weak in the way of meltdown or out of control threads,we all must be really bored these days.

I am a member of another forum that does something like this.

http://www.fohguild.org/forums/

It is not a "Hall of Fame" that rewards the threads, it has a slightly less PC name for it and it is not a positive to have a thread sent there. But still, it keeps them readable.

Where you trying to send us to Celtic? LOL. I get the following (see image) when clicking on your link...

Peace.

Edit to add: I chose the "Get Me Out of here!" option.

The way some of the dead links show up there is likely a hidden sub-forum where they are moved only the mods can see. We had a similar setup on a board I modded.

"You don't have permission..." - stored in the vault
"Link does not exist..." - truly deleted

.

Some of you might remember the "Post of the Month" awards on RSB many years ago. I thought about suggesting that for AzB - until I realized it would mean actually looking at all the threads here.
