Hey guys, No there's nothing for sale here, but I wanted to post where most of you are and this is where the bad transaction went down. I made a trade with Chris Wood who is known on AZ as Cuefan86. I sent him the Bill McDaniel cue I had posted last week, he called me Monday and said he received it and that my stuff was on the way via UPS but the dryer ate the receipt, that put up the first red flag. Now he's not answering the phone and hasn't been on AZ since Tuesday when he left me a scrambled PM that made no sense, but he is trying to make it sound like he's been kidnapped or something stupid. I talked to the local UPS where he lives in Guntersville Alabama and Nothing was sent by him. What I'm trying to get out of this is that maybe one of you guys know him or live in that area and could talk some sense into him. Let him know that this is not worth it. I made a mistake by trusting him but you'd like to think that there is some kind of ethics amongst us AZ'ers.
Any help would be very much appreciated at this point. This is a terrible thing to happen especially right before Christmas.

That really sucks. I hope you get your cue or some kind of retribution
And no matter where your at there are always some that like to screw it up for everyone. GOOD LUCK

It is hard for me to deal with some people around here where i live and now i see this.....
what is az coming to.....
I had at least 5 deals gone bad one of them is a omen cue i shipped to a guy and never got paid the other bad one is to Aaron painter and he still owes me money.... that was a 5 pointer omega cue

I made business in the past with this guy. Actually the Webb he has for sale was mine. I think it has been trade for something he had, 2 month ago. Don;t remember what was...but it was a smooth transaction. If i remember correctly he sent the cue first...but not sure...
Anyway the guy seems stand-up to me...but now it seems a moron who tried to get some itrader points. He probably wanted to have a little respect earned via itrader in order to screw someone with a big cue...
I am really really sorry Greg (as you are one of the nicest guys around here) but I don;t have any contact details of him...I wish I kept those...

I hope he'll get back to you and the problem will be solved in a blink...I hope he's not a jerk and he really had some problems which kept him from being honest and make this right.

I wish you the best Greg and don;t forget that there is always a shinning light upon us.

Howard, It looks like his Itrader says you have already dealt with him twice before.

Some People purposely build trust to then take advantage. Hopefully this is not the case and he Makes it right.
 
That sucks Greg. I have done deals with Greg before and he is one of the easiest guys to deal with. I hope the guy steps up and does the right thing. It is becoming harder and harder to deal with people around here. Very sad that you can't do an honest deal with someone.

iv had many deals where people back out. But never anything like this. Its just not cool. I hope you either get your cue back or the money for it.
If you can't get this fixed make a police report... We need to crack down on the bad and show that if someone thinks they can get over they will go to jail...

Ethics among some AZ'ERS ? Questionable huh?
 
If anyone did a deal with him where he (cuefan) sent funds via Paypal, you should be able to find his address by looking up old transactions then looking at the details. I hope the situation is resolved quickly. Good luck, Greg!

Wow - I almost made a deal with this guy last week. I had a cue packed up waiting on his address to trade him and he said he found a buyer for his cue and he would keep me posted. I found another deal later that evening and told the guy I would not be trading him. He made some smart ass remark about the abundance of cues of the type I had. I told him if the buyer didn't send him money right away the deal would probably go south. Sounds like I was right. It makes you think that every deal you make you might have to hold your breath until it is over. Real sorry this happened to you Greg. Call the police in his home town and they will pay him a visit. I have gotten 2 cues back with this method. Mail fraud is serious jail time.

Awesome. I really hope that the community can help you get this guy. I would never consider anything like this, ever. And believe me, I'm dirt poor right now. :frown: Still, have some ethics and morals. 'Tis the season afterall. Just sad.

howardthedick.. I did a deal with him on a buffalo case not even a week ago and it went smoothly. I have contacted him to let him know I received it and condition was acceptable, but have heard nothing in return. Wonder if something has happened..
