Diamond built the tables, they have built the event, and if it goes like all is hoping then this event will be at each tournament. ( DCC / Southern Classic ). To me I think you have two events to name.

In motor racing they have an event in the isle of man called the TT

So i think we should just call it

The TT.

Since it's Ten ball on a Ten foot

or the TT classic, TT winter classic TT summer classic TT invitational TT international. Derby TT, Diamond TT

Or the 2013 TT, MMXIII TT.

I've been noodling on this for several days now and haven't got anything better than what's been said.

So, two things I was thinking... (I know, there's a problem right there)...

1. Should an old time professional be honored with part of the name?
2. Should the locale be mentioned in the name?

Personally, I'd call it the Bo Derek Championship.

Only problem there Joey, is the entry fee will get bigger in the future so have to change the name then to the 2 Grand, 5 Grand etc... :wink:


I still like TT Louisville TT, Tunica TT, Hong Kong TT, London TT

Or even the DTT like you have WPT - world poker tour.

Could have the WPTT - world pool ten-foot tour

I didn't read all the suggestions, but I thought:
"U.S. 10 Ball Invitational"
I think the title would be fitting and good for years to come.

I'd call it 'The Fat City 10 Ball Challenge'. The word fat would be a small remembrance of the man who put lots of time, energy and money into this endeavor.
