of course.. my main concern with it isnt the quality.. it seems to be one of the nicest made and well consructed cases i ever seen.. i am more concerned with the way it will get beat up from everyday use.. thats why i am a fan of my porper cases.. for $50 bux they protect the cues nice and who cares what happens to the outside... but they are junk compaired to something this nice..

Go for it

I think when a nice case like that gets used and broken it it gets patina. When a Porper case gets broken in it just looks old and beaten up. Use it and enjoy it as it was made for.

That's exactly why my whitten case sits empty at the house and I use my Sterling case instead most of the time.

While I can kind of understand guys that will buy $10K cues for collection with no intention of ever using them.... I can't quite transfer that to a case.

IMO, if you have no intent in using it then don't buy it.

I find cases just as important as cues. Jim made a great case, i loved his work and wish he was still doing it. Natural wear and tear on quality leather cases looks fantastic. Buy this case and use it. I bought my murnak in 2008 and it looks better now due to the aged patina on the leather.

Damn nice case. If you like it, buy it. I have a Murnak. They're well made, hold up well, etc. The cues move around a lot in them vs my JB, but I'm not rowdy with my stuff.

I have a similar Murnak case, except 4x8 and no tooling.
Terrific case, worth every penny, and the Murnak 2x4's just like the one you're looking at is one of my favorite cases

Murnaks are awesome cases and they look amazing. The only thing I didn't like about the one I had was the tubes, which I felt were a little too big. But other than that it was great.

I'd definitely recommend a Murnak. :)

Thank you everyone for your comments... i am deffinatly buying it..

its a no brainer! anyways.. i still welcome to hear from more people!

thanks again everyone..

Damn nice case from a great maker.

Buy it, put cues in it, carry it to the pool hall, and show off in style.

would you do something for me

put your shafts in joint protectors down, this case might come my way in 10 or 11 years, so...

thanks in advance ;)

I love my Murnak 2x4. As some have said the cues move a but if you don't throw it atound that won't be an issue. My case is about 5 years old and looks great and I think it will just keep getting better. I'll post some pics when I get home!

i have a nice new sterling 4x8 if you want a daily work horse
use this beauty for other or special occasions

at least thats what i do

dean

congrats, its fun to get something nice
practical may be a good servant, but should never be our master

live a little

after you have had it 3 or 4 years, your cost won't even be 50cents a day

Here are a few more pics. You can definitely see some wear on the corners of the pockets and the top and bottom. Finally, I figured I'd throw in a pick of all my gear...lol.

I like air tight cases

When you put the lid on they seal. Just a thought. I also have a 4x8 sterling Dean gave me that works just fine. Anything big goes in a case with a seal and a slide on lid.
How many times have you heard there was a Felini with a Cue in it in a closet for 30 or 40 years found with a pristine Cue in it? That type case has the most protection for storage.
Nice find,
Nick :)
