I have an equal amount of supporters for every issue I have raised. The piles of green rep I have received prove it.
Pic or GTFO...it doesn't count if the rep is from another one of your own accounts BTW!

here, let me fix this:

The goal in pool should not be to have fun, it should be to mercilessly destroy your opponent. To never even give him an opportunity to shoot. To keep him in the electric chair the entire night. I don't know where this idea of fun started, or who started it, but it needs to stop.
We're having a serious discussion.
I must have missed that part. You took a thread that someone else started asking about the new APA 8 ball scoring for matches and tried to turn it into an attack on handicapping using a secondhand Strickland comment on pool being ruined by the APA, with you still being unable to show in any way at all how it was ruined. None of that sounds like a serious discussion
The calculator dilemma was in response to a SID kick which is a well known 3-cushion system. And a long-rail SID can be difficult to judge if you are looking to hit a particular side of the ball, or even trying to be precise enough to make it. And the calculation is at the borderline of where a calculator would be beneficial. So in truth, perhaps the idiocy is more present in the person who has not asked this question!
The SID system that I know is not a three rail system. Are you speaking of another system? Link please.

Like I said before, I would support the APA if everyone played even.

same SID. It was developed for 3-cushion, but can be applied to pool.

I have it written in my kicking portfolio. I have no links but there are hundreds of links to it. Bob Jewett has a fine article on it.
This is the SID system I am familiar with

It is not a three rail system.
There is a Sid + system that is a two rail option.
I'm disheartened that we can't all act respectable toward each other.
No one to my knowledge has referred to a 3-rail SID system in this thread.
