You should probably listen to the rest of what the announcer says right after, as that is all true. Plenty of "celebrity" types say stupid crap just so that it keeps them more controversial so they get more press.

Nobody plays in pro baseball without playing amateur baseball in high school and college. nobody plays in any other pro sport without playing in school + amateur leagues. And virtually all of pool's fanbase for watching on TV or attending events are amateur players and a huge number of them in leagues like the APA. Without them, that $25,000 added tournament that Earl is playing in on the video wouldn't have happened as nobody would put up the money for it.

I must have missed that part. You took a thread that someone else started asking about the new APA 8 ball scoring for matches and tried to turn it into an attack on handicapping using a secondhand Strickland comment on pool being ruined by the APA, with you still being unable to show in any way at all how it was ruined. None of that sounds like a serious discussion

Like I said before, I would support the APA if everyone played even.
 
The SID system that I know is not a three rail system. Are you speaking of another system? Link please.

And that is proof you are missing pieces inside your skull because the league wouldn't exist if there wasn't handicapping. Thankfully, the APA and other handicapped leagues will continue to exist without your support.
