New APA Scoring system

You should probably listen to the rest of what the announcer says right after, as that is all true. Plenty of "celebrity" types say stupid crap just so that it keeps them more controversial so they get more press.

Nobody plays in pro baseball without playing amateur baseball in high school and college. nobody plays in any other pro sport without playing in school + amateur leagues. And virtually all of pool's fanbase for watching on TV or attending events are amateur players and a huge number of them in leagues like the APA. Without them, that $25,000 added tournament that Earl is playing in on the video wouldn't have happened as nobody would put up the money for it.

here, let me fix this:

The goal in pool should not be to have fun, it should be to mercilessly destroy your opponent. To never even give him an opportunity to shoot. To keep him in the electric chair the entire night. I don't know where this idea of fun started, or who started it, but it needs to stop.

my apologies, yes this is a serious discussion....

We're having a serious discussion.

I must have missed that part. You took a thread that someone else started asking about the new APA 8 ball scoring for matches and tried to turn it into an attack on handicapping using a secondhand Strickland comment on pool being ruined by the APA, with you still being unable to show in any way at all how it was ruined. None of that sounds like a serious discussion

Like I said before, I would support the APA if everyone played even.

The SID system that I know is not a three rail system. Are you speaking of another system? Link please.

The calculator dilemma was in response to a SID kick which is a well known 3-cushion system. And a long-rail SID can be difficult to judge if you are looking to hit a particular side of the ball, or even trying to be precise enough to make it. And the calculation is at the borderline of where a calculator would be beneficial. So in truth, perhaps the idiocy is more present in the person who has not asked this question!

And that is proof you are missing pieces inside your skull because the league wouldn't exist if there wasn't handicapping. Thankfully, the APA and other handicapped leagues will continue to exist without your support.

Well, isn't that special.

Turns out, thousands and thousands of people support it - so you can just sit there and tell us all how awesome you are.

Just admit it, you're PoolKiller, PocketPoint and all of those other idiotic aliases. I haven't really heard anything from you that's any different and you go about it the same way. You sit there with absolutely retarded comments, try to drag out whatever b.s. you can and ignore anything that'll kill your trolling.

How about you take a video of yourself playing against Lyn(or anybody, for that matter) for whatever you've got in your wallet.. playing even, of course.

I'm disheartened that we can't all act respectable toward each other.

except that you are the one who started with acting disrespectfully by stating people who can't play without a handicap should stay home, that handicapped leagues destroyed pool, etc.

No one to my knowledge has referred to a 3-rail SID system in this thread.

other than you referring to a 3 rail bank using SID, you're right.

again, have you been diagnosed with a mental illness in the past?

Maybe I misunderstood what you wrote I took you to mean a three rail system:
