Quick Moneygram Question

Anyone received a Wal-Mart moneygram for payment, and what are the risks? I did some online searching but it mostly deals with the sending not receiving. I have understandibly cold feet from all the deals gone bad lately, so just looking for some quick advice. Thanks in advance.
 
To my knowledge, once you walk out with cash, it's a done deal.

That's why scammers want to be paid that way.

I've sold many cues taking payment that way from overseas, and have never had an issue.

Anyway, now that this acumbag, has been 'BANNED' and it has been proven that he is out to take advantage of others, here is the personal information, that he sent to me, when he tried to steal a 3x7 Instroke Buffalo Case and a Mike YingLing Ash Shaft Cue. He tried to take me for almost, $1,000, but I held off just long enough for him to cancel the E-Check he sent me.

His Personal Info is, 'PRODIGY1 and CHEESER???

I paid someone with this method and then never received the item. Maybe it's much better receiving then sending. I would think about a postal money order, especially over state borders. Always nice to have the feds at your disposal if you need them if something goes wrong. Just a opinion.

Moneygram or Western Union is fine for receiving payment in my experience, but I would only pay someone using that method that I trusted 110%. The sender has zero recourse once the receiver walks out with the cash (to my knowledge anyway).
