Pocket Reducers

Does anyone have any feedback on the spring loaded pocket reducers?
I'm mainly wanting them for practice on my shot making for my home table.
Also if anyone has any ideas for the same concept but maybe a DIY reducer then feel free to step in.

These are one of the best gadgets I've ever purchased. I think they helped my game more than any other device. Funny, a lot of people think they are helpful for shot making. Sure, they are. But they are a fantastic position tool. Why? Because they teach you to play position by cueing the ball properly, rather than by missing the ball into either side of the pocket. The first thing I learned when using them was that my stance was all over the place. So for general alignment and stance building, they are invaluable. Next I learned that if I wanted to run all the balls with them in, I needed to play really tight shape. Hence my cueball control improved significantly. I learned to be vastly more precise with exactly where I strike the cueball. I would say this device is most responsible for getting me through the B player phase of my pool development. I doubt I will ever stop using them from time to time. A couple of hours every couple of weeks keeps my game very sharp.

Awesome item,,,,makes you really concentrate and without them,,the respective pockets feel like buckets,,,,,kinda of like when a baseball player uses the weighted ''doughnut'' to swing with on the ''on deck'' circle,,,

I highly reccomend them,,,,,,,:thumbup:
 
IMHO you should not practice in pockets of too small size, does not help position play practice in maximum.
Many posistion shots take into consideration pocket cheating.

It is never good to practice any single thing too much. the pocket reducers are good because he can remive them, unlike a tight table.

I have the reducers and don't think they are good fro much more than shots where the OB is a diamond+ off the rail. Makes the pockets way too small.

Thank you guys for the feedback I appreciate everything! I definitely don't
want anything permanent because the tables around here are buckets but
I do want to be able to get a straight enough shot so I can learn to shoot
the balls into different sections of the pocket.
