4 The Meucci haters ;)

Beautiful cue you have there.
Bought this in 1980 for $100. I really enjoyed playing with it and it's overall appearance and workmanship. It is re-wrapped. The original was white/green spec. Had the shaft turned to 12mm. It sits on the rack. What is disappointing with the current Meucci's is the sealed wrap. That kept from me away from buying another.

To say that I am a Meucci Hater is most likely an understatement. I have owned Meucci and after playing with it three weeks the butt started to crack from the bubbles that were in the cue when I received it and to make things worse Meucci did nothing to help me.

Needless to say I was able to fine a Meucci lover that bought the cue off me at full price even though I told him about the cracks( thanks).

So I came out ok in that situation but that was the last straw. The cue played like Sh%t with all the negative feed back so I wasn't missing anything.

I personally would not buy a Meucci to wipe my dogs A$$. The costumer service is full of Sh%t and the over all quality of the over priced bullsh%t they are pushing to the cult like followers of this sorry A$$ brand isn't worth the time it takes to make the sh%t.

So to end my rant FU#K MEUCCI sideways!!!

This is Bob and I holding my 98% mint condition Meucci Chess cue from the very first catalog. Bob was blown away at the condition of it and in all honesty I think he wanted to buy the cue but I quickly told him that it was not for sale. I hope yall enjoy this picture.

Paramount Collection-5 Meucci PC-5

I play since 1997 with a Paramount Collection 5, same shaft all this time. Before 2 months i played with a BMC custom with a black dot shaft, did not like it -no feed back.Asuming that the butt is diferent i asked my friend to screw it on my PC-5,some thing did not like it.Maybe cause of the tip I use a LeRro the blackdot had a layered everest.Anyway i play 15 years with my meucci and still love it .
Maybe the quality after 2000 or so is not like before or maybe its all personal opinions,Well the main thinf is to be all healthy and play the best by far game humans ever thought.God bless you all.

My first "real" cue after I bought a Dale Perry was a Meucci Gambler. I thought it was a pretty good cue at the time but what did I know. My wife plays with a Meucci White Rose...it's a really nice cue...good quality and shoots pretty good...but honestly I wouldn't want to play with the black dot shaft.
I see on his website that he is now making a cue that they say you shouldn't buy unless you are a pro or semi pro. I had to chuckle at that.
But I'd love to try one.

Are you sure that cue just wasn't made at the factory? LOL

Nice old original. Meucci made things on the first series originals different than they do today.

No way Jose lol, thank you, it is near flawless man

All this may be true but he did the hiring and his name was on the junk that was being turned out. So in the end who was to blame? He also let his customer service go to hell and that was what really hurt him.

The staff was to blame, Bob was trying to slow down and not be at Meucci INC every single day. It looks like he should have been but he was not. That is all I know about that

I've got a couple he can buy cheap.
If you see Mr. Meucci again could you let him know, I would appreciate it.
Seriously, Bob looks like a heck of a nice man and I respect him as an innovator.

I would be more interested if it is the right cues, I am a collector Bob is a producer. He just had a strong interest in my Chess cue because it is near flawless  PM me with what you have to sell please

Of course, you have said that before.

What I mean is why would one agree to such a thing? As you can see, there are numerous people who are not happy with Meucci and this move does not help.

Even Adam clearly marks their own reproduction line. They have the same Adam logo but under it say "Classic".

Did Meucci not know or not care what the reactions might be like among the cue aficionados?

.
Chop I wish I could tell you why, I asked Bob in person at the Meucci factory a week ago and that was the reason he gave me.

Meucciman, the quality in his cues have not improved lately. He has untrained women working for him putting those cues together. How good can the quality really be? I know someone that knows Bob Meucci and Darren for over 30 years and he knows exactly what is going on inside Meucci and what you are saying is incorrect about the quality is better now.

Since I have owned too many production cues and only one custom, I am a great source of info on this one. I wouldn't trade my old players cue for a new Meucci. Here in the land of only bar tables and no diamonds (or any table bigger than 7') Meucci is STILL the most popular cue. Only bc you can't tell a dumb redneck anything. Yeap the land of big dummies, little tables, and crappy production cues is where I live. Help me!!!
Hmmm and to think that so many pros won so many MAJOR tournaments with a crappy production cue

I will gladly give you your $100 back for it  And thank you, I love my Chess cue
