My latest adventure. John makes really good players, there were questions on the for sale side of this cue, when I bought it, if it was a real Showman, other than the case and joint protector. I knew it was right away by his picture of the buttcap. John has a very thin band that separates the the buttcap from the buttsleeve. A good way to spot a Showman cue.

Love it...

The cue is phenomenal.

However, I can't stand the guy who had them made... :slap:

Congrats Bud!

Perfect Simplicity

There is nothing better looking than a perfectly executed titleist. Then the case, oh my. "makes the others look like stick ball bats" Congratulations John Wayne.

That's a horrible cowboy name, (Owen Wilson said that to Jackie Chan, Shanghai Noon Movie). thank you. Ron Thomas makes great cases.

Thank you, who had them made?, I heard there were three made.

You are correct. Three were made.

His AZ name is/was Tank138. He USED to sell on here. In fact, these cues were his last sales.

I'll send his real name and information if you want. Plus I have other info too.

Michael Webb filled me in on Tom D.

Are you guys referring to a "batch" of cues made by John, or has he only made 4 conversions total? If so, these are several years old, as I had a buddy who had one about 6 years ago. It had the "micro-engraving" on the end of the pin. It was a light rosewood Titlist forearm. I wish I had taken pics of it.

There were quite a few conversions that John made, this is my second one from him. My first one had a ton of inlays. I think these were completed around 2010.
