That's a Teres Audio 320 turntable. It's constructed with a Jatoba core and a thick Cocobolo exterior. Jatoba is a very stable wood and the core is made in a matrix for even more stability. Once the core is complete it has channels drilled throughout which are filled with lead shot. This helps dampen the table even more. The entire table weighs in around 75 lbs (the platter alone is 35 lbs). They no longer make this table so putting a value on it is tough. I will say this though, if someone offered me 4K I'd have to respectfully decline the offer.

Thanks for all the compliments everyone,

I love stereo equipment and this turntable is just amazing. I have over 400 albums that I collected when I was growing up and I could put a turntable like that to use. You are very lucky to have one since they are no longer made. Awesome setup......

Another pic of Olhausen 7'

Here is another pic:

7' Olhausen Americana....Not nearly as nice of a room, but mine none the less. Room size 12X15'7".

1950's era cue rack.....Have a nice dart board in here as well but no room for seating. Not quite sure what I'm going to do other than play pool and throw dart's....

The bar is to the left(not visible) in the first pic. The bar has 2 levels with a sink behind on the lower level. I fabricated and built all the parts(not the mirrors lol). My wife showed me a picture online, and asked if I could build it, what you see is the result.

My room is pretty bare. I need to get some stuff up on the walls. But hold on a few minutes I'll go take a pic. Don't mind all the rockband drums and guitars. That's my wife's hobby.

ps. I HATE THAT POLE!!

I hear ya ... it took me about 8 months and several thou$and to get rid of one in my basement. But having close to 6' open space between the table and the walls is worth it ... imo.

Here's mine. It's still a work in progress. You can see where the steel beam went in to get rid of that damn pole. Wish I dared go to 16' on the beam. The house is a modular, and when I called the engineer for the company that made it he said not to go beyond the 13' 8" that was the width of the open area directly above in the living space. I stretched it out to 15' with no problems so far.

The engineer I was supposed to hire to spec the beam kept stalling on me, so I fired him and called a few guys I found on the Internet. One of them told me if I gave him all the point loads he would tell me what I needed but couldn't sign off on it. I didn't need a building permit in my area, so I just used what he told me. 15' W-8-18 steel beam.

Funny thing was I had a guy grind some stumps that came with the place. I got talking with the guy and he told me he worked full time for Schenectady Steel. I told him what I needed, and one day he called up and said he had the beam loaded on his trailer. $200 for a $375 dollar beam. I had to force an extra $40 on him, which he only took because he was going to the ponies that afternoon.

Here's a shot of my young friend with it. Just used my log arch and wheeled in right through the walkout basement doors - all 300 pounds of it. Then he called his little brother up and the three of us got it up and framed out within a couple hours.

- $240 for the beam and tip
- $100 for several 2x6s to build the support in walls at the ends
- $18 for a 12 of premium beer
- $30 for a grilled steak dinner for the boys

Satisfaction of shooting unrestricted by the effen pole - Priceless.

The best thread I ever read! I enjoyed every contribution from the spartan to the opulent. Each one wherever it "scored" is the owners pride and joy, so they are all the best!
