Think a local movie store would have these?
Has anyone seen "Turn the River" (I think is the name) with Famke Jansen?
Any good? I notice it is the only other pool movie that I can think of that wasn't mentioned.

The hustler. Then watch color of money. Two best ones. Baron and the Kid with Johnny Cash is quite good IMO

Buy The Hustler and The Color of Money ... they are both worth watching more than once or ten times!
Yep. It's 'The Hustler', and forget the rest. 'The Color of Money' won what was a 'lifetime achievement' Oscar for Paul Newman, but, as a pool player, it's 'The Hustler', and nothing else so far.
I just got back from store got the color of money only one any stores had! Is it good?
Watch it and see what you think. Not saying it's bad-it won Oscars for Christ's sake-IMO, it's not worthy of 'The Hustler'. I hate 'The Color of Money' for the way it portrays pool. "'The Hustler' made me proud to be a pool player, and 'The Color of Money', not so much. I guess it might just be me.
Turn the River isn't that bad and has some good actors, but I hated the ending.
Buck Neckid Rack Girls was my favorite.
To each their own, but I'd think if you could finish Stickmen then anything would be bearable. I tried to watch it and couldn't. Maybe I just got annoyed by the accents though.
