I played a kid in 9 ball that shot with the butt end of the cue like that bat in the cartoon. He claimed it was a cardinal sin. This was when I first learned to play when every stick in the room had no tip. He hit the the one into a crowd of balls that i miss cued off the break courtesy of no tip. 9 ball fell in. Just thought Id mention an interesting way to lose at pool
