I would venture to say none of the "nay-sayers" on here have even seen the full length video of TOI....I have..and i didnt fully understand it. So, I arranged to have a lesson session with CJ Wiley. After tweaking my approach to the line of the shot, I had success in pocketing balls AND getting shape in just under 3 hrs. I came home and hit probably 50 balls....missing only 6. Im a APA 7 (since its been brought up previously). Furthermore, for those of you (LOU) that think CJ cant still play, u r sadly mistaken.

where to play

Earl and I were considered the best on 5/10 tables and it never came up for us to play each other. It's a gunfight, and he would have to play better than he did against Shane to win - it's a different world on the FIVE by TEN, the TOI Technique is brutally strong because you MUST hit every shot firmly - especially on worn cloth and of course that's what we would play on. ;) 'The Inner Game is the Teacher' www.cjwiley.com

CJ, would you consider traveling to Florida and playing on.the Brunswick Centenial shown in the other thread? The table is in Cocoa Beach, Fla. where live streaming going to take place soon per the thread. You could work a deal where stream buyers get a little TOI instruction with their.purchase.

The table looks amazing as does the room.

I like your style. There is no one way to play this game really. Just look at the variety of styles amongst top players. There are however more concise ways of hitting the balls and moving through racks that just work more efficiently. This type of play is much less likely to break down in competition. You obviously demonstrate that in your recorded sessions .

I hope you dont let the nits here drive you away. Your work and time is appreciated.

So.....maybe I missed something, but, so far.......I've read JCIN inferring that CJ was in a ring game and refused to play on a live stream. He didn't actually say his name, but one would believe that's who he was referring to.

CJ says this isn't him.

Did I miss JCIN responding and clearing this up?

It was apparent that he was a "Dick,

CJ -- In case you aren't aware, SJDinPHX is 'San Jose Dick' McMorran, a member of the One Pocket Hall of Fame.

It was apparent he was a "Dick," just didn't know which one. ;) Weldon "Jr" Rogers used to talk about him occasionally.

It was a cheap shot.....no one in history (that I know of) has been paid to be on streaming video in a tournament....not even on TV did we get paid. Between 1999 and 2007 I didn't play any tournaments, my first one was the US OPEN. I had been lifting weights/martial arts, and was 210 at this time, not an "ideal" pool playing size. Jerry of AZBILLIARDS was one of the commentators, SEE FOR YOURSELF:

CJ what is the last tournament you have played in and how did you finish? I have seen you play in videos years ago and seen your new 29 ball run video but havent seen you in any tournament lists Im just wondering if you are playing much these days.

They're pool related, just not in the traditional sense.

The last major 9 Ball tournament was the US OPEN in Virginia. I've been booked up with lessons lately so playing isn't a priority. We're in the process of making a new Video, the filming is intense the next couple of days.

There's no pro tour right now so we're working on doing some TV events at the Dallas location in June. They're pool related, just not in the traditional sense.

Structure, Routine, ? Puhleeeeeeze !...It is people like yourself, that keep "aiming system" promoter's alive...Keep grasping at straws !..
I admire SVB for his hard work, and dedication..But I also think he was BORN with a little Efren, Busty, and Orcullo in him.. He would never have made it without that ingredient, even if he practiced 'til his arms fell off, and his eyeballs bled ! (sorry, neither will you !)

Kinda like Babe Ruth, Ronnie Allen, and Keith McCready all of whom rose to the top of their game, on booze and hot dogs..Being as we are talking pool here, I know for a fact, that RA, (and dozen's of his other contemporarie's)..didnt spend over 5-6 hours practicing, in his/their ENTIRE life !...But then he was just an 'average' player, wasn't he ?...Where was HIS 'structure'..

You have now crossed the line. I am going to refrain from posting what I think about the One Pocket Hall of Fame nominations and voting process because, as Alfie says, I want to keep it nice.

For you to make that statement, as if it was fact, that Ronnie and Keith didn't practice over 5 or 6 hours a day is a downright untruth, and as far as hot dogs and booze, you literally don't know what you're talking about.

You keep throwing Keith's name around on this fourm as if you know him. When I asked him who you were years ago, he had a hard time remembering your name, much less what your accomplishments are in the pool world.

As least Keith can post here and reply to you. As soon as he wakes up, I am going to let him read what you have written about him, and he can address your barbs.

JAM <---keeping it nice

C.J., Pat Fleming gives the players royalty checks. I saw him hand Jose Parica a check overa thousand dollars in Louisville one year, and he's given Keith close to 2 dimes since we have been together. True, it's not a payment for playing, but it is royalties. And when you're on the road, as I know you know, that little bit of money comes in quite handy! :)

Yawn. You're going to wait a few hours and then log in with Keith's account to write your own response. You know it, I know it, everybody here knows it.

I'm actually not as good as Keith when it comes to replies on this forum, but you can believe what you want. Makes no difference to me. :)

I have never ask Pat Fleming for a royalty check and I'm on many Accu Stats videos

I have never ask Pat Fleming for a royalty check and I'm on many Accu Stats video productions. Does this mean he should offer me anything or I should ask? If he ever wants to offer me something I think it would be rude to not accept his gift, however, it would be a gift since I don't expect anything.

At one point it was mentioned that we were supposed to get .50 per video, however, it was never brought up to me again. I haven't received anything in the last 17 years for sure, before that I may have got a check, I can't remember for sure.

Pat usually gave out checks at tournaments when I saw them. IOW, he did not mail them to the players. When he saw them at tournaments, he would issue the checks. I saw a line of players at the Derby City Classic in Louisville collecting checks from him. Jeanette Lee was one of them.

I like that table, what did you have in mind? You can PM me

I like that table, what did you have in mind? You can PM me if you want, there's a lot of knockers on here lately. They would all have a fit if they thought someone besides them was making a cracker. What country is this becoming anyway.....north korea?

Gosh I didn't know it. I know Jennie and Keith and I didn't know that Jennie speaks for Keith on this forum. That's news to me. So you're saying that Jennie, doesn't talk to Keith, doesn't inform him at all of things said about him, doesn't ask for his answer and simply makes up whatever is written under Keith's own account?

Huh, that doesn't sound like a good relationship at all. I wonder how in the world they have managed to stay together all these years with Jennie speaking for Keith all the time. Interesting.

Keith plays online poker so he obviously knows how to use a computer or is that Jennie as well using Keith's name?

Is the implication that Keith isn't smart enough or computer literate enough to speak for himself? Or that he prefers to have Jennie make up stories and answers to comments about him. Is Ketih a "kept man", o boy toy in a professional's skin? Is he Jennie's personal champion in her pocket?

Since you, anonymous newbie seem to have all these answers please tell us more intimate details of Jennie and Keith's life and relationship. We need to know this. We must know the truth as only you, anonymously, can provide it. While you are at it is Mary Avina actually behind CJ's posts as well?

The first stream we ever did was at Dan Tull's place for his $3K entry ring game in July 2007

I have never and will never played in a ring game for 3k, so it definitely couldn't have been me.

10ballflyerAZ.jpg

The only time I was at Dan Tull's place was to play in some kind of a bar table ring game format on BarTables

You really should get better at the internet.

Edit to add: The game is the teacher.

Never used "less" or "doesn't mean as much as other money"
Thats all you right there.

Just said don't compare TAR added money to those other entities added money, because TAR is different.

If you can't see the fundamental differences that exist, well, I can't help you.
I understand that TAR is your baby, and you take a lot of pride in it.
That's great.

But what TAR does, IS different then what those other entities do.
It's not a knock, so stop taking it like one.

All those other entities money, can be accessed by anyone. TAR money, can't. For reasons you've already stated.
As such, TAR is in a different category. And that's not necessarily a bad thing.

And I already said that TAR does a great job, so stop getting all bent.

<----is expecting the "What have YOU done for pool" reply, next.

What have you done for pool lately?

I'm kidding by the way. The attitude that anyone owes anything is one of the biggest problems with pool. You won't hear it from me.

I understand what you are saying I just don't see it as being important to the point I was making. I thank you for the kind words about TAR.

I didn't play in this tournament

I'm not sure, but I seem to remember reading about this tournament on our forum. I did not go. But I think, subject to check, there was a ring game.

Dennis Orcullo got pissed off about somethning and walked out. James Walden was in the house. Did Shane McMinn win the whole shebang? I can't remember. Did you get invited to compete in this ring game, if there was one?
