I still talk to Surfer Rod on Face Book and "Omaha John" was his road partner for years, they were the "Dynamic Duo" "Surfer Rod" & "Omaha John".

Omaha John and I were road partners when I was 17/19 so I've heard a lot of the "Surfer" stories. He was an incredible character and a college professor. He's now retired in Utah.
