this kid

I know I am going to catch hell for saying this but I thought his stroke needs a lot of work. It's fluid but has problems that will likely cause him trouble down the road. I would say most of this is attributed to his size. As he grows older that same stroke will not grow with him and will cause him problems.

But the bottom line is he is pocketing balls and having fun and that's what it is all about.

As long as you are making balls, stroke, aiming systems, and pre shot routines just don't matter. Making balls and running out is all that matters...don't matter how you do it.

The kid didn't waste any time when he got down on the shot, one or two practice strokes on all but one shot. The part I thought was cool was when he missed the shape on the nine he turns his head and laughs, just like all the great pinoys!

Anyone else notice how long his stroke is and how he curls his hand inward during his follow through?

Yeah, he'll never make it. He drops his elbow too. That can't be natural. Some bad instructor must have taught him that. But...he does stand straight up & tall to shoot.

Seriously, that is awesome & that is how we all should 'play'.

To have fun like a child & for the love of the game. Money corrupts.

But...I think that was a propostion bet & I think he won $100.

You may be right but Keith McCready started young and kept the same stroke and turned out pretty good.

Hi my friend,

stay calm :-) Believe me- with his age he s doing more than well. I m really impressed. With young kids in his age usually the biggest problem is, to *let em have fun*. And he s far beyond this stage. His stroke is already fantastic-just watch how perfectly he s able to hit the cueball center axis- awesome how he s going for the angles. And he hits the balls extremly well- also on long shots. wow!

And you also shouldn t forget, that he is STILL limited with his body- and he handles this fantastic. If he stays with this style of playing, he will improve while he will grow- if he s tall enough you could start to work perhaps a bit on that stuff. But not yet.

just my 2 cents ^^

an impressed

Second kid is impressive. I like how he checks out the angle on every shot.

It's great to see a kid that young be that disciplined.

"Stroke needs work"...take your video camera to the pool hall, play a few racks on your knees, & report back of how you achieved your perfect stance & stroke. Eagerly awaiting your results.

It's amazing how at that age he can see which shot is better. A minute into the drill he gets straight in on a shot, instead of just shooting it, he goes for a different ball to be able to get better position. He's probably the best one his age I have ever seen. Even the Roberts twins are not up to that level.

These kids all share one weakness. They can barely reach the end of their cues when they are trying to chalk. Once they grow a few inches taller, and can chalk better, their games will really take off.

Awesom, there is the future folks.

Usa players are going to be even farther down the pecking order in years to come.

These boys are not even 10 year olds yet, i believe.

Iam a 45 year old b-b plus 9 ball player and i can see i could not beat these kids!

I have to agree, many "good" players will have a tough time with him. As much as it pains to admit the truth, they'll beat me too. The amount of awsomeness in the world is surprising, look at all of the musical prodigies that can equal in music what these kids do on the pool table. Puts you in your place at times, you think you know something, and then you get hit with a brick in the face of someone 1/4 your age that can do it 4 times better.
