AZB Pool Tournament at BCAPL in Vegas!

It started here (http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=310988) but I thought the title needed to be more informative to catch more folks attention.

Tuesday 7/23 at or around 1pm we will be gathering for a tournament comprised of AZB'ers.

No entry has been discussed. I see no reason to make it more than 5-10 dollars.

The game also has not been specified. I would like to see 10 ball played with Texas Express 9 ball rules with the addition of the money ball pocketed at the foot of the table not counting for a win on the break.

To sign up go to http://challonge.com/ and create an account and then go to http://challonge.com/tournaments/signup/KGRdzwHJbb to sign up. I used my Facebook account to log in to this site. Works fairly easily.

If you have any questions feel free to post them here and we will get this thing rolling!

If I can actually make it there with my son for the Jr Nationals I'll probably play in this, will bookmark the post, thanks.
 
I believe the proper day and date is :

Tuesday July 23rd at 1 PM.
This is a good time - only the final few will be playing in the various single events.

The BEF fundraiser starts around 7 PM (Just guessing).

And there will be plenty of tables available.

As it gets closer, we can have a meeting point - but it will be in the Pavilion Ball Room.

Well that kills my idea to play hehe, I'm only going for the Jr Nationals which would be the 25th I'm in town. Unless my USAPL Masters team wins the playoffs and gets a free trip.

Can you sign me up or put me on your list ??

I'll be "dead money" too but I'm always willing to step up to the table against anyone and support organizers efforts.

Like to meet some more AZers also.

I imagine this list will undergo many changes before we hit our first ball. It will be fun to put a face to names....err nicks. :thumbup:

I'm good with a $5 or $10, the tables are open already so no $ needed other than entry :D

Okie, are you bringing a bracket for the tourney?

Race to 3/double elimination? single elimination?

We don't want it to run too long, just a fun thing to meet some AZ's

How about race to 3 both sides playing ten ball using Texas Express 9 Ball rules? I would like to add a rack your own with the ten not counting on the break at the foot of the table.

I will have a laptop if Mark can provide me with internet access we will be golden on the brackets. This site is pretty slick for running tournaments. Just got finished using it to run a little tourney we had tonight at Jamaica Joe's! http://challonge.com/joes03292013
