What is Borana Andoni's speed?

We meet in the middle- 8ball - race to 8 - 500 on a BB.
Come to bellmore tonight and there's my final offer. I'll play higher too if you want??

How a out 8ball, but we only get to use the bottom two pockets. You get one, I get the other. Oh, in a big table with tight pockets.

The A players around here won't play her even.

So what does that make her?

Unless the A players are really Bs, and so on and so forth.

The best definition I ever heard of an A player is "a player who beats B players." It's all relative...

Its not all relative. Just because every informed well playing pool player in (insert particular state/place) says A players are really B players and so and so forth doesn't make it so. This is essentially nonsense. There are multiple tests people can take to find out their pool playing ability. And it doesn't matter if your in New York, California, or Dubai. The score...is going to be the same. Now it maybe that because a concentrated number of good players are in a particular State or Country that a kind of desensitization of talent might occur. But just because New York has 40 A players for every 1 Connecticut has, doesn't mean all those shooters in New York are now B PLAYERS! The logic doesn't follow. Another thing that can effect this is the tables your playing on...but again this has nothing to do with a particular geographic location.

I agree. This thread stunk three years ago. Seriously, I don't understand the point of this thread other than an opportunity to bash Borana or knock her action...

The point of the thread was clearly stated in the thread title, I was inquiring about her playing speed. I'd heard of her but had never seen her play. The fact that Inside Pool had a cover story about her as one of the up and coming young professionals yet had her listed in the tournament results section competing in B-D events was curious to me, so I asked. That's all there was to it.

The suggestion that this was an intent to bash her is simply not true. As far as knocking her action...please. She was on the cover of a pool magazine.

What's your speed? I'm a B. so, borana and I would play a close game.
If you're honest w your speed, we set up a fair 9 ball match.
If you lie about your speed, then my pit bull will attack you.
Bring it.

Well JB is a pretty strong player, deemed a pro. She was allowed to play in an amatuer only second chance event at Turning Stone this year. That made no sense. An A player I know beat her and she acted like a big baby and told the guy he got lucky. She played bad and lost...it happens.
