We will have 2 complete streams going from the 2013 Ultimate 10 ball Championships. I will be lead commentary for one table and Joey Aguzin will lead on the second table.

We would like to know who you would like to see join us for a match or two?

I like, in no particular order, Buddy Hall, Billy Incadona, David Sapolis, Jeremy Jones, Jay Helfert, Brandon Shuff, Lee Brett, Jeanette Lee

Please share your thoughts.

Thanks,

Ray

I recently watched an older TAR match between Shane and Alex, with Scott Frost in the booth. I really liked his commentary and insight. He had a good mix of color and technical analysis. He should do more commentary.

Scott is great in the booth. He did a match with me in San Leon, TX on the Galveston Bay.

I think it's awesome that you are asking for our opinion.

Scott Frost and Corey make a great combo for like 10,000 reasons, either of them apart would be nice too. Also any combo including Shannon Daulton and/or Jeremy Jones is a good one. After that Billy and Danny would both get my vote.

Max is GREAT at commentary, he is one of my favorites. however he might be busy playing:thumbup:

Please

Jay, Billy or Buddy. I love good commentary but good stories to accompany it makes it just that much better.
I agree, that Max would be excellant as well.

how bout jennifer and emily

BTW you did write who would we want to SEE.................make that clear ........and not hear.

Joey A has a great voice and knowledge.

Truck, great voice, knows how to talk pool!

Frost, what a surprize to me, excellent voice, plus great player!

I'd like to hear Alex the Lion commentate....
He does a great Michael Jackson impersonation....
He did his 'Michael Jackson as a pool player' routine at the 2006 US Open and
brought down the house.

...plus...he knows what he's talking about.

After watching this: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iVKbOHJZ-U4

JENNIFER BARRETTA should be involved in some capacity with all major events.
Whether commentating, interviewing, behind the scenes work...
She's intelligent, real comfortable in front of the camera, sexy voice, and obviously gorgeous.

Why hasn't ESPN hired her for WPBA events? No brainer folks.
This is where JB will shine, in front of the camera.

Beyond billiards too. A hotter, smarter Erin Andrews perhaps?
Yea, I like her!

Mike Segal (really liked his commentary on Efren's Z-kick magic shot against Earl), Nick Varner, JJ, Johnny Archer, Freddy the Beard, Keith McCready, Billy I. And definitely need an interview with Earl, it's not a complete pool production without it.

Experienced well known players are the best to commentate, because not only they know the game, but they also know the players to speak and tell stories of what had happened in the past, it really make it more exciting to watch & hear them, and for the game they are usually spot on with their guesses and what should of been done on situations.

ofcourse Billy incardona, Grady mathews, Buddy hall, Nick varner, are examples from the past with accu-stats and how successful their videos were only because of the commentators, believe it or not, a commentator can easily make a horrible match look good and exciting and visa versa where a bad commentator can make a great match look horrible, It's an important subject and yet some pool streams neglect how important it is to put players that are known in the booth. They should be known, famous, and knowledgeable. and why is it important that they are known is for the credibility purposes in the eyes of the viewer.

Look at every other sport, most of the times, like 90%, the guys that are commentator were an old players that retired.

I'm not gonna suggest or name names, you think of it, there are plenty of retired pool players that are known in the world & have plenty of knowledge in the game.
