Hi there,

I just received my second Sugartree yesterday, that is a fancy bocote sneaky pete I got from Dave, aka 12squared.

I took some pics of it along with my older sugartree, a 16 pointer with wrap.

the process of acquiring these two cues were exceptionally long, I got through some unexpected difficulties along the way but with the help of some great AzB member, I finally got them in my case. well, no pain no gain, everything just feels sweeter for me.

I would like to express my gratitude to the sellers, Dave and Mike (aka. Quality Cues), to my big brother and mentor on cues Nam (aka. leminhnam), my admiration and big thanks to the ones who have them made, Dave and paulibatz, and ultimately to the cuemaker, Eric Crisp.

I LOVE THESE CUES TO DEATH!!

Here comes the pics, I hope you guys enjoy them.

Thanks, I love ST for that also. FYI both cues play awesome, but the sp is a bit stiffer than the 16point.

Thats an awsome Not so Sneaky. Gongrats.

Thank you, it is truly very special.

Nice

You have 2 very nice cues :).

And I guess you treasure them more for the road you had to take to attain them.

Please give me some info on your feel of the playability on them.

Congrats!

Thanks Chrippa. Yes, I gotta go longer ways to get them both. I followed these two for months before I could actually purchase them. And from the moment I sent payment to the moment I got them, it got bumpy once or twice but I received great help from Nam, Mike and Dave. I learned invaluable lessons on trust and passion along the way.

They play awesome. I got the 16 pointer first and loved the hit. I tried a few ST and that 16p hits better than those. Before getting the SP I thought it could not hit as well, but I was wrong, the SP hits as nicely as the 16p, just a bit stiffer because of the new taper and smaller tip. But I took no time to get used to it.

yes the road is teaching us some valuable lessons that makes it more enjoyable imo. The cue/s gets far more precious, "good vibes" in them:smile: sort of speak.

He does use some really nice wood in his cues and I´m not surprised of course that you like the hit in them. I will try out some these days but I don´t think that there are any here in Sweden, well if the cue doesn´t appear here I have to go there:smile:

You should definitely get one and get one quick because the prices are going up lol. I got Lambros on my wishlist, but of course not fancy as yours, just a pj is enough for me.

You should've really snatched it up then. it will never hit market again lol.

your situation is exactly like mine. my 16p hits very well but I don't want to take it to the pool hall everyday, I can use it in tourney but not in pool halls.

for the sneaky, I have played with is for 5 days now and really can't put it down, last Friday I played 14 straight hours with it, and really it became natural to me.

good luck with your hunt and enjoy the show. I wish I will have the chance to attend one in the future.

That Texas Ebony cue is one of my all time favorite Sugartrees. I love the wood combination.

Cuong, is the pin titanium or aluminum, do you know? I didn't know he used anything other than brass pins in 2008

It's more like aluminum than brass, Danny. I think it was specially ordered :)
