Scroll to the 2 hour mark to watch Emily play for an hour or so- gives you an idea of her speed, even though its just a casual game. Shoots pretty good. Straight shooter, powerful stroke, but misses a lot. Once that cue ball is controlled a little better, she'll win more. B speed max right now.

Do you think she played at "PRO" speed? I watched her match with Christian Smith and both players were far from any pro level they missed some balls by a mile and missed with some easy outs.
 
I watched 20 minutes of that and I think its hard to gauge her speed there since she was just beating balls around and not taking her time. I assume that wasn't her best game so she is probably capable of playing B speed. Perhaps even higher when she catches a gear.

Edit to ask what model GC that is. GC2 or 3? It has the bronze colored corners and the raised plastic pockets.

She spoke out because she felt like females were not given much respect on this forum.

Guys on here have avatars of a pile of fat chicks in thongs,

Which was bound to get dismissed anyway... for some guys on here,

Let me start off by saying that I fully agree with not bashing woman. I don't see the point really and they can play just as good as men. Men may be better at power but woman are better at finesse in many sports.

While I agree with not bashing woman I also do not agree that the woman in that video plays at a pro speed. To be honest the shots she misses shouldnt be missed if she is a legit pro even if she wasnt paying attention.

Maybe she was trying to get some action....

Her stroke looks good and her break has good form.

Her position play is also pretty good which leads me to believe she is very close to breaking through to the next level. She also could have not been used to playing on the type of table she played on.

Even with all of this I would still consider her about a B speed from that video.

I'd bet you could count the 6 pack runners with the fingers of one hand on this forum. I'd also bet she plays better than 75% of the posters.
It's always been easy from the bench.

Thanks much for posting. I thought she played pretty good and the music was great in the background. Looks like a lot of good matches listed that I need to watch. thanks again.
 
I think the question at hand is "is she a PRO player?" the answer is not yet, but working on it. As far as how she looks....very pretty to me fully clothed or not. The rack pack or whatever they call the group of pretty women players are trying a different approach to attract more people to pool. Hey if it works do it, but keep in mind that what I find pretty isn't the same as what someone else does. That is life get thicker skin. In all fairness Emily didn't post those pictures of herself on here someone else did.

If you look at all of her recorded matches she plays the same. I personally think that once she gets the jitter bugs out of her system she will be another Monica Webb. It took Monica a while to work it out, but she has and is always a top 10 player. We have played in many tournys together being that we come up in the pool world in the same area at the same time. Emily reminds me of Monica and she will work it out and do very well within the next year or so. I am a fan and wish her the best. :thumbup:

Just go to her website, and bam! A giant, provocative picture.
Half her pictures she's half naked, one she is dressed in a bra.
She posted them and what better way to sell yourself - sex. Go for it!
But... now she is fair game for criticism; either for her pictures, her website, or playing ability. This is what happens when you strive for the limelight.

She is an average player, even by women's standards. Not bashing, I have eyes! I'll respect your game in a few years, maybe...

Relax people the OP wasn't bashing. He had realistic and positive things to say about her play. I think her fundamentals look pretty solid but her pattern play needs a little work. Of course, they were just horsing around there so maybe she wasn't taking the time to figure.
Thanks for posting the vid, I enjoyed watching her check to be sure the front three balls were frozen. :D
