On The Road Again with Perfect Aim....

In Indy for one more day for sure.........

This would be a great home for any pool player.

Great poolhalls with lots of action.

Today is kind of special. As happens many times in my travels I am meeting with one of our own on AZ here at the brickyard to give him a little sample of what Perfect Aim is all about.

Some of you know him as millertime77 on AZ and to most here in Indy he is Jeremy.

I'm meeting him at Brickyard. This is always allot of fun.

Got another lesson later tonight but this one right here, like I said is special.

It's one thing to hear about my perfect Aim but it's another thing to see it in action first hand with your own eyes and just know right away what it will do for your game.

Havn't made up my mind which way I am going. Maybe the Expo and maybe someplace else.

But wherever I go it will be fun and I will stir the pot.

Feeling good and able to play along with teaching always make everyday a winner.

Happy belated Easter, Geno. Thanks for all you do for pool players all over the place. And the pool world.
Many Regards,

Gene,

I tried to play Steve Oaks when I was through there and he cant bet big. He needed to call this guy, and that guy, and conference with 10 people.

Embarrassing for how much he liked to talk.

Bobby called me and it sounds like Strong arm John is going to play Steve Oaks.

I don't know which game they were playing but I know they will bet big.

I asked Steve to play before I played Bobby. he declined.

He asked me to play 2 years ago when I was at Brickyard. I sure wish we could play.

Oh well. There is still time.

Should be fun to keep an eye on.

Bobby Sr is there also . I'll have action there for sure if a lesson doesn't happen.

Got to go have some fun...........

Today if I play I will practice playing when I'm a little tired. need to play tired to get used to focusing when your tired.

tonight would be Perfect.........

So how is the expo looking??? They have Shaw and Archer right after at Sandcastle and the make it happen 1pocket at Sandcastle the following weekend so there should be tons and tons of people needing to be straightened out or matched up with....

I think SandCastle has some hotel deals worked out so it might not break the bank if the drive doesn't...

Got a little bug problem again.......

Staying at the Value Place here and I had to switch rooms the day before Easter because the guy up above my room made too much noise.

The room they put me in had those darn bed bugs. Got bit about 10 times. those darn things itch like a mosquito bit on steroids.

Got to clean everything and spray everything with alcohol again.

I might still head to the Expo but I'm not sure. I didn't enter any of the tournys and now it is too late. It would be pretty tough. The drive would really take it out of me.

I shot tonight at Brickyard and played real well. I'm ready to play again.

If anyone ever had these darn bugs it takes up a whole day of cleaning and washing to make sure they're all gone.

Plus giving lessons I don't want anyone to worry about me bringing some little friends along.

The motel situation is pretty bad out here. It seems these darn bedbugs are everywhere.

I even looked this room over a little before I took my stuff in.

Tomorrow I will have to clean all me stuff one item at a time. Tedious but has to be done.

If I don't go East I'm going to have to figure out a good poolhall to go to in another town.

They say there are no side effects but they're wrong..

I just want to share this with players out there because this could effect the way you play.

If you are somewhere that you get bit by these little monsters there can be some bad side effects.

The itching is about triple of a mosquito bite but it doesn't stop there.

They say on all the websites that it effects people emotionally so they don't sleep well. That is for sure.

But the night that i know i got bit I had trouble sleeping and I had no fear of the bites. I felt totally wore out and I even woke up having a little trouble breathing.

I think they need to do some more research on what these bites are doing to us physically.

I did keep digging on the internet and found a few that said some people with asthma had some trouble that caused medical treatment.

So be careful if you get bite. This could greatly effect your pool game.

Especially being diabetic. Just like people with asthma our immune system is just not as strong as a normal person.

I woke up the first night feeling like I had a hangover. I don't drink but did a long time ago so I know how a hangover feels like. I had no idea I was bitten until I took a shower. I had slept a little over 10 hours. Not normal for me.

Now the second night I went to bed at 4:30AM and woke up at about 3:30 PM.

These bites do something to us that nobody has figured out.

Isopropyl 91% alcohol will kill these bedbugs on contact. I sprayed every crack and crevice around the bed thoroughly. No more bites.

But I found that they only need to feed about every 7 to 10 days. So lets say you only had a very small infestation like 1 or 2 adult bedbugs you will only get bit every so many days.

I did find out that if you can sleep with the lights on that you will not get bit no matter how many there are.

The gal at one motel I stayed at said the maintenance guy that stayed on site had a terrible infestation but he slept with the light on all the time. He never got bit.

When he quit they had to really work on this room for sure. he could have been a source for many problems in the motel.

I really wanted to go to the Expo. The day I got bit first was the last day to sign up for the tournaments. I even had Sean here from AZ offer to share a room with me but at that time I already knew it was a no go. I would never do that to someone with the chance I could bring these bugs along.

I've had to get rid of these bed bugs about 3 times now. After a couple of times you become an expert for sure.

Today i am doing all the cleaning and disinfecting that needs to be done. Then I will load my stuff in the car as it is cleaned.

Not sure where I will go but I'm sure I will not be taking any of these little buddies along with me.

Bottom line though. If you get bit be careful about doing any gambling for sure for awhile. These bites do something to us that isn't really explained.

Good Luck to anyone else that is unlucky enough to encounter these.

Get rid of them as soon as possible.

Going somewhere tomorrow, give me some help here guys.

I'm leaving Indy after one last lesson.

I'm checking out of the motel and then doing the lesson and it's up up and away.

I want to go someplace where they have a tournament this weekend that I can play in. I finally got in stroke. I've been working on it for about 2 weeks here and it's finally coming together.

Bobby Sr was my opponent tonight. We played the first race to 9 , 10 ball and I won 9-2. I missed one shot and played like I want to.

Then we played the second set. Bobby wins the first 2 games and then I'm running out with a fairly easy out and rattled the 7 in the corner. Got the score tied up 4-4 and then Bobby went to work running 4 straight rackes

Things were not looking good. I just took each rack as it came and tried to not give Bobby a shot. I knew if I did he would put the fork in.

I ended up winning the set about 12 to 10. We had to win by 2.

it was late and Bobby said he had enough fun.

I was really happy how i'm playing and I'm really excited how well the Jacoby Edge plays. It has what I call playability. You can do all the things that you can do with a maple shaft and yet there is less deflection.

I'm really starting to get the feel of it and feel pretty confident playing anyone right now.

If anyone knows of a tournament this weekend, hopefully on bartables, that is fairly close to Indy. Within 5 to 6 hour drive let me know.

I'll go there and play in the tourny and stay there for the week and give lessons.

Can't wait to play in something or play somebody.

I hear that Chris Bartram would love to play you. :)

Not that ready yet.........

I hear that Chris Bartram would love to play you. :)

I am very confident at this point that this match with Chris and myself will happen.

I'm not quite ready to jump in the tank with the sharks.

I've felt like this for about 2 days. Got to make sure the body and the stroke will hold up.

But I really do want to play, play and play some more right now.

But I also want to do lessons also.

My energy level is getting much better also.

I will be having some fun for sure though.

Scott, do you know if Galesburg has any places with 9 footers?
I've been throwing around the idea of going to this tourney if I can find someone to watch my dogs. It sucks when the wife is out of town; I can't do shit.

No idea, James. I'm actually far closer to Joliet, I play in Mary and Rob's area.

Ill play our game if you beat me ill take the perfect aim thing from yoi

Hi there Chris,

You were the first person I thought of as I was stroking in the balls the last 2 days.

I'm definitely on the mend so it won't be too long.

Thinking about us playing is motivating me to get the health back on track and my game.

Good Luck geno......
