TAR match with top female players?

You know you have action with me always. I am always good for lunch money. You can have $200 on Chris too.

And you too Lenny, I know you want some. $200 for you too.

So Cleary, that leaves you and you can have the other $400 making it an even $1000 that I will bet on Kelly. Forget the odds because I know that the whole world will eager to lay out huge odds that Chris will destroy her. So later if I want more I will wait for the people who truly think she is an underdog and are willing to give out the odds to prove their conviction.

Again this is for any match that they play, tournament, gambling, exhibition, whatever. Everybody good with that?

Confirmed woo hoo, now someone get them to play

No. If they play some race to 6 in Jim bob's Monday night 8ball touney... No.

Ill bet 50 right now they don't play anything serious on purpose in the next 6months.

John, I'll take the extra $400 I don't care the race, as long as they bet cash and its not an exhibition.

Do you guys want to play?
I will stream it FREE.
It could happen in Tunica, Kelly is signed up for the Ultimate 10 ball

What format: ( just mention some possibilities)
10 ball race to 100 - over 2 days possibly
10 ball 12-15 ahead - like 10 hrs a day?

Whats the bet:
5k
10k
20k
???

please speak up, lets get this set up, everyone looks interested.
No need to fly elsewhere when both of you will be in Tunica.

Just to clarify if they play anything this bet is for the match whatever it is. Race to three in the monday tournament, or TAR race to 150. Ok?

One match only we can bet more if they play again.

Yes - if they play on the challenge table at the SBE. Whatever they play.

If they play I'll lay you 3k to 2k. I will post money if needed.

Chris Bartrum has said he could beat any woman in a TAR match. I think he should play a top woman- maybe Ouschan, Ga Young Kim, Kelly or Alison Fisher, etc. and see what happens. I think such a match up would draw viewers.

That's funny, I was just saying this to my bud yesterday. I'd def vote for a Bartram vs GYK or XTP match... My money would be on one of those ladies because they are not just top female players, but just top-notch talented players regardless.

I just at the table last weekend between Jeanette Lee and Warren Kiamco, bar box 9 ball alternating breaks. The only reason Jeanette lost was not being able to see te one after the break.

With that being said, on a big table and winner breaks I don't think it is much of a contest.

Jeanette did take fourth.

I enjoyed watching the ladies, in the short races, but I don't think I would purchase a Tar Match.

i could be wrong but XTP seems way out of stroke. She may be too involved with her businesses over there. I dont see anything on the schedule that would bring GYK to the USA now until Mohegan Sun-usually October. If there is a WPBA US Open, she will probably be here for that but i dont see it on the WPBA site?

GYK has had a lot of experience VS Men-not intimidated at all. That would be very fun to watch fer sure.

A set for 20 k might make her come over?

Then every woman should do this so they can be the next world champ.

And if Kelly was serious about gambling, she wouldn't remain holed up in South Carolina or wherever she is. There is plenty of action out there for her. And with the WPBA being pretty much dead, she should probably strongly consider it.

Just kind of an observation but why would any known professional player be serious about gambling?

Can anyone point me to a professional player or a well known player who gambles on pool who makes a living from gambling on pool?

And if they do manage to have a positive net worth what is that amount?

It seems to me that amateurs are way more enthralled with gambling on pool and matching up than professional players are.

I mean I like to gamble and I like to see heavyweight match-ups but frankly that's just me being voyeuristic and thrill-seeking. It seems to me that for a known professional player gambling on pool is a 50/50 proposition at it's absolute best. Either you are going up against tough competition or you are giving up the nuts.

So unless the player is staked I don't see the appeal for a top player to gamble other than just to establish who is the top dog.

I don't see what's wrong with a high stakes match where both players are getting paid something and the winner gets a lot more. It's like this in just about every other sport where it's head to head action. In boxing the loser still makes money for being there and I don't see why it should be any different for the PROFESSIONAL pool player.

Now from an amateur standpoint I like the romantic old west shootout where the loser is left dead in the street. One side walks away with all the money and the other side is broke and depressed. But when thinking about my friends who have to eke out a living playing this game I don't see any upside to running around the world trying to match up even or have to give up the nuts gambling.
