EDIT:
Wow, I didn't think such a simple thing would bring so much confusion lol...
American pool players - as in players that play American Pool - the sport, not Americans. Like American 8 ball, 9 ball and 10 ball. British Pool and Snooker for example is out of this list.
ONLY CURRENTLY ACTIVE PLAYERS!
-Shane, Mike or someone else is missing on the list... The top tens site has dynamic lists and new players can be added at any time. If you want to vote for someone who is not on the list just add them...

Well, couldn't find a topic for this on the-top-tens.com so I decided to make one.
http://www.the-top-tens.com/lists/135120.asp
Please vote :)...

I lost interest in voting when I saw the list.
Alex Pagulayan was not on the list...but some players that need weight from
him were.

And it didn't specify a time period....some of those guys couldn't chalk
Buddy Hall's cue...or Mike Sigel's....or Harold Worst's....or......???

I'm really confused by this list. 7 of the 10 aren't even American.

The game is called 'American Pool' internationally, often.
...but the options on the list suck.

The OP is from Macedonia...and he didn't mention Alex?

Although I won't disagree the list is lacking some big name players, the author of list is specifying AMERICAN pool not American pool players.

He is from Europe where generally speaking, they consider 9-ball on a 9 foot table, American Pool. This is to not confuse with other games such as snooker, British 8-ball, and so on and so forth.

Confusing, but I was hoping to clear up the misunderstanding.

Yeah, I figured that is probably what he meant but then it should be rephrased like, "Best Players at American Pool".

7 out of 10 arent Americans and he doesnt even have Shane Van Boening listed?

Hey Luke,

Not only is Shane missing but Mike Dechaine as well. Rodney and Raj over Alex? No Dennis O? Seriously? Think the OP should rephrase and rethink his question.

You can add anyone you want in the list.

Yup, exactly.
And by the way, on the-top-tens.com you can add any vote in a list, so you can add any player you want to vote for.

This list is dynamic and people can add any player.
If you want to vote for Shane, add Shane to the list

It's not about nationality. American pool - as in the sport.

STILL, SVB is not listed? lol... He could give weight to some of the list easily...

And which game are we speaking of, as it matters. 9 Ball? 14.1? 10 Ball? One Pocket? If all games are bought into play, no one could argue that it would be Efren at his height in pool.

Please read Edit. Anyone can add a new player to the list. And American Pool in general.
