Lets Buy FatBoy a Gold Membership

i appreciate the love and thoughtfulness of everyone here. I sincerely mean that.Even the people who dont like me, its all good, look at the bight side we are alive. its sad to see so many pool people pass away recently, we really need to be grateful were alive.

when the $30 is raised for me to be gold, you have my word that a huge multiple of that will go directly back into pool, in some form or another. I know this started out as a joke and it is funny as hell, but there is a serious side of it as well, the fact that people are willing to do something for me truly means a lot. Sure i have been very lucky in life, and when you get lucky that cuts you off from people doing things for you, it really does, its not the $$ its the thought. I know that sounds cheesy as hell but its the truth.

So thanks to everyone,

best
eric:smile::smile:

PS: Jay does have a point I am down to my last Rolls, so yeah on the next "Lets get Fatboy whole" fund raiser, lets go for the Rolls. Did i really just say that? J/K Seriously i was very honest in my post, since my uncle-last blood family passed away last Dec its changed my outlook on many things-people and how important they are to each other. Its very lonely for me now, I went to the Dr the other day they asked ifI had a family history of something, i said "i dont know", the lady didnt believe me that i have 0 blood family or anyone to ask. brutal.

And so now you're down to just this motley crew here on az. well, you're Golden bro (or about to be)!

I think a few guys missed the entire point of this thread.

It was fun and funny.

And nice. :)

best,
brian kc

I need some help. I sent PMs to Mr Wilson and AZ House Pro looking for help in how to arrange one member buying a membership for another. Mr Wilson said he doesn't touch the money and I haven't heard from Mike. Any suggestions?

Kevin

For those that just can't see this thing. Sorry about that.

Yes, every contributor has less money than FatBoy.

Not only that, but plenty of people (again folks with less dough than Eric) who ponied up or want to, aren't even Gold Members themselves.

So what we got here, is people with less worldly goods than the recipient, looking to give a person a thing they don't even have.

Maybe the next collection we take up, instead of it being to buy a Roller, should be to get a few guys a sense of humor and fun. Anyone know what one of them costs, I got mine for free?

Thanks

Kevin

Life is a beautiful gift and I have so much gratitude and wonder for it.

Some people think they are living in heaven.
Some people think they are living in hell.
They both are experiencing the same world.

Hang in there FatBoy. I have the means to buy you the Gold Membership status and all that comes with it. I just need the powers that be at AZ to show me the way.
Soon you will be chilling with us all in the AZ VIP Lounge.

And every post you make, that Gold Gift will be there to remind you to feel the love.

Kevin

I think I'm done, man.

Thanks so much

Kevin

As usual....a day late and a dollar short...well, in this case, $5

A beautiful thread....and for those who missed the point...a gift doesn't
necessarily reflect the financial stability of the recipient..it's just a statement.

I think Tate is in the running for funniest contributor.

Kevin,

I just sent you an idea via PM on how you could pay for fatboy's gold card. Sorry I didn't see this earlier, I would have played.

As the grumpy cats are proving, its the thought that counts.

You, of course, will be hanging happy with us in the AZ VIP Ultra Lounge, loving life.

yup, that is correct

Hang in there baby, VIP Lounge soon. I just need a mod that can do it to respond.

Then we will be hanging in the VIP room with all the happy contributors, partying with the foxes.

While the grumps sit outside with stale warm beer and no service, mumbling about how dumb we all are.

Soon.

Kevin

Social class (or simply "class"), as in a class society, is a set of concepts in the social sciences and political theory centered on models of social stratification in which people are grouped into a set of hierarchical social categories,[1] the most common being the upper, middle, and lower classes.
Class is an essential object of analysis for sociologists, political scientists, anthropologists, and social historians. However, there is not a consensus on the best definition of the term "class", and the term has different contextual meanings. In common parlance, the term "social class," is usually synonymous with "socio-economic class," defined as: "people having the same social, economic, or educational status," e.g., "the working class"; "an emerging professional class."[2]
The term "class" is etymologically derived from the Latin classis, which was used by census takers to categorize citizens by wealth, in order to determine military service obligations.[3]
In the late 18th century, the term "class" began to replace classifications such as estates, rank, and orders as the primary means of organizing society into hierarchical divisions. This corresponded to a general decrease in significance ascribed to hereditary characteristics, and increase in the significance of wealth and income as indicators of position in the social hierarchy.

And here I thought a system of "class" was just simply taking the high road when someone takes a low road...

Stay classy my friends, and San Diego.

I love to cut and paste too!!!:

"Psychological projection was first conceptualized by Sigmund Freud as a defense mechanism in which a person unconsciously rejects his or her own unacceptable attributes by ascribing them to objects or persons in the outside world instead."

Sigmund might have also mentioned this psychological mechanism often makes the person doing it grumpy.

Don't be grumpy, come into the light, join us in the AZ Ultra VIP Lounge, its full of foxes and booze and fun.

Thanks

Kevin
