As per title, I've ready cash to buy the best and most beautiful piece of Amboyna Burl available. I don't want regular Amboyna, I want museum grade Amboyna with loads of Burls!!

Ralf, those are some sick cue holders...and yes that's the kind of Amboyna Burl i'm looking for! You've got all the nice stuff...

Anyway i'm still looking for that nice piece of Amboyna Burl. I don't necessarily need a huge piece, just show me what you got and we can go from there. ;)

That Manzino is sweet! That's the kind of gorgeous wood I want!! Short listed a couple but still looking!!
 
i doubt you'll find "the best" in the States and if you do you'll pay a super premium. You're closer to the source than we are

He is right. Roughly 3/4 of all illegally harvested timber ends up in china. You have a much better chance of finding good stuff.
 
Illegally harvested, not illegal wood. There is a lot more wood going through Asia than the states. I think burl wood looks great, but in reality it is a tumor on the tree.
