Just picked this Joss West Sneaky Pete up from Craigslist yesterday. The guy bought it from Bill many years ago. I paid $500. Awesome shape given how much this guy said he used it, which was alot! He was an old road hustler from the 60's 70's. Super nice guy, told me stories of the road all day via email.

Just thought I'd share pics. I've had more than my share of Tim Scruggs sneakies, but never a JW wood-wood sneaky. Awesome!

I think it is cool and the price sounds reasonable and inline. You are going to have to list the specs and let us know how she hits.

Wrong section to share pics bud. This thread needs to be moved to the cue and case gallery section.....unless you decide to sell.:grin-square:
Nice looking cue, and pretty rare. I think it's the first wood to wood JW that I've ever seen.

Oh, you're right Shamadam. I thought with the new forum look, that they removed or renamed some of the categories. I tried to go in and edit the category, but couldn't. I would consider a trade of some sort...the $600 offer I'll think about but I haven't even had time to miss some balls with it yet :-)

The first JW sneaky I've seen, very cool>>
It's a really great find Michael, way to go.

So, I sent this reply to Barking4Action, but if I get no response from him, the offer is open to anyone interested. Must have good feedback and I trader points, 100% Ebay feedback or some other way to tell you're not a flake :-)

Thanks for all of the interest...

I've received a bunch of "I'll Take It"s, but was awaiting to hear about a trade before I made a decision.

Hey kids, I just decided to let this go on Ebay. I had some "I'll take its, but didn't get any response from the ones I contacted back, so instead of having to wait for replies, I'm just listing on Ebay. Maybe you'll get it for less than I was asking? It's only a 3 day auction, 99 cent listing with NO RESERVE.

Good luck for those that were interested. Ebay FEES be DAMNED.

Just a few more pics. Seems like the Butt Cap is probably one of the most important things on this cue, it's in GREAT condition!

Currently at $660. Should be a good deal for someone on a vintage, rare cue.

Good luck with the bidding! Ends in a few hours...

Jw sp

I was wondering about that. Maybe the butt cap came off a broken JW cue and put on this SP ??? Maybe it is the only JW SP. I have never seen one or heard of one either. I collect SP'S.

I've seen two JW SP's... and since you probably picked this up in the Denver metro, this might be one of those two.
Both were 3/8-10 with a sideways JW.
Besides, Bill is a member here, you can pm him...
