When u pay all ur bills and have $30 left to buy gas and groceries for the week and anything else like the 2 sets of tires I need for my car and wifes car on top of the vet bill well to make a long story short yes the cost of 1 beer a month would break me but thank you for junping to conclusions without knowing my situation

Just goes to show where the loyalty is. Iv been a member here since 2006 and have been watching the forums since 2004 am I thrown in some drawing to win anything? Do I Get priceless for being a member here for over 5 years no but ya jump through hoops to hook up ppl who joined 5 minutes ago 5 days ago whatever the case because they can afford to throw a lil $ ur way every year

Don't get me wrong. The true value on this forum is it's posters. But any business is going to tip their hats to paying customers over those who hang out and add color to the decor.

YES. That's how business works. If you don't like your situation change it. Don't tell me it cant be changed. If you can post here, you have time. If you have time, you have the ability to turn that time into money, through several different avenues. If you choose not to, then don't complain to others for doing what it took to come up with $$$ for something they wanted...

In short, stop whining and do something about your lack of $$$.


Speaking of which I keep forgetting to by my gold membership... better do that one of these days...

What loyalty? It's a free website that people talk about pool stuff. What have you contributed in the 7 years you've been here? Of course they are going to reward the people who pay.

If you show up at Starbucks and sit at a table everyday for 7 years but never buy anything, I suppose your going to get really pissed when the guy who spends $10 a day on latte gets a free scone every once in a while?

I don't know you, but you're argument is ridiculous.
 
No definitely does surprise me by any means. Doesn't really bother me all that much cuz I know they got bills to pay. Just puzzles me that a forum which at one point in time was here to help out the pool universe now requires a payment to reap the benefits. As if the pool players out there didnt have enough expenses. I could see if you use azb as means to make money by selling things every week. But anyways ill stop before I let it actually bother me lol
 
I liken it to going to church. My church doesn't ask that I pay to attend. They pass a a tray around to collect envelopes of money, but nobody is required to put money in there. It is voluntary.

Me personally, if I feel I benefit from church, I like to contribute to the church, to keep it going, so I can keep benefitting.

Whether I give money or not, they still welcome me. In fact, on the first Sunday of each month, they have a free Bach-athon music festival with pipe organs in the church. It's pretty cool if you like Bach. :)

And after church every Sunday, there's free cookies and punch. People can hang out and chat and stuff their beaks.
 
So you go to church and get the same benefits whether u throw a lil cash there way or not. However they dont require you to pay to have the ability to go the special sunday event do they?

No, not at all. Everything is free in church. I just throw a little bone, with not much meat on it, in the money dish.

There are some Sundays that I don't give anything, like around April 15th when taxes are due. I'm usually broke dog and borrowing from Peter to pay Paul. :frown:

I do eat my fair share of cookies and punch! :embarrassed2:

You've posted 3-5 times in a few hours. Stop posting, start working and REALLY SUPPORT the site that you claim to like so much...
