Bonus Ball stream tonight. Will it work?

I actually have confidence that it is going to work tonight. I just started a thread in the action room for the Atlanta Scorpions (Johnny Archer's team) vs the LA Wave (Oscar Dominguez's team) and I wanted to make sure that tonight's stream is a live match right?
 
Is it PPV tonight? Either way i dont think anyone will be viewing so it should go smoothly.

Hey Lee, I will be watching the TAR podcast tonight and I will probably check into BB after to see how its going. However for the people who are going to be watching BB tonight if by chance it does not work you should click over to www.theactionreport.com it should be very interesting. If for some reason TAR don't work I will be clicking over to BB. I just spent too much time last weekend clicking and refreshing to try and watch BB.

Yeah definitely if Bonus Ball has issues I'll check it out.

The TAR podcasts can always be viewed later right?

In the first week we didnt get time to setup the comm system between myself and the commentary booth. As such there was no way to cue the announcers, so we had to wing it. We managed to get that sorted out today, so come this week, we will be able to avoid those types of confusion, as I will have the ability to talk to each person individual over the comm system.

This week we will also have live stats, 3 extra cams, and streaming that actually works. Our server is still down and I honestly don't know if the guys will get it ready in time, but either way we can now push directly to ustream, rather than through that server, which was killing our connection speed last attempt. Well, my stream was perfect 5 minutes ago when I posted above. Then it turned off in the middle of Larry's shot. I guess I jinxed it:( Hopefully they just turned it off themselves to do something.

I'd assume they're fiddling with it, heck they have over 2 hours til the match. I just tried "Watch Live" and then clicked the "Play" icon, and all I got was a spinning "load" wheel.
 
Yeah, I've been checking it all week at various times. Its been up every time I checked it, but with just a camera pointing at a piece of paper, not much else. Of course, the test won't come until we all try to view it at the same time.

What points do they play to ?
I see all diff scores

Oh, I stand corrected then. For some reason I thought that there was more than that. Maybe there was a thread on the match and then a threas on Thorstens 60 run.

They play 8 matches with each match being worth 1, 2, or 3 points. 3 points if you shut your opponent out, 2 points for reaching 30 before regulation time expires, and 1 point if you win after regulation expires.

It gives the players incentives to not play safe or stall imo.
 
It will probably work but I think that is because it looks like it will still be via Ustream not thier dedicated system. If it is up for the entire period and they have decent active video production I think I would call that a win for Bonus Ball they will be going in the right direction.

Good luck Bonus Ball players/production crew and Bonus Ball girls.

One thing I noticed watching a replay segment earlier this week, the Bonus Ball girls get a lot of TV time from the mid-section down so my suggestion is get them to move closer to the cameras so their face is seen or have them show some belly via mid cut type outfit. I do not think they are maximizing this aspect of the video. Perhaps 2 girls per game s overkill this is not quite Wimbledon. I would prefer one girl per game with more personality and a lot more knowledge of the game/event.

I liked the pace of play when watching a Pheonix Match vs Thorsten and Soquet.
 
the stream is working great for me. only problem is their website takes up half the screen and i can only watch the stream from bottom half of my screen. when i scroll the stream up i can only see half the table. how do i remedy this ?
