The first prepaid orders to come in will get numbered copies from 1 to 100, and autographed of course. The publishing date is from one to two months away, more likely two. The order I collect the money will determine the number from 1 to 100. Someone from Onepocket.org has already locked up #1. Up to this point I haven't asked for anything from anyone yet so there is no # 2 at the moment. The tentative price is going to probably be $49.95. That is not locked in because the book is going to cost pretty good to publish, hard cover, large size, 350-400+ glossy pages, hundreds of photos, etc. But to raise some interest and some money the special pre-pub price is going to be $49.95 including shipping. As the payments come in I will assign the numbers in that order and notify the buyer as to his number.

All orders will receive a bonus DVD, the OnePocket Hall of Fame Dinner for 2011 or the BCA Hall of Fame Dinner for 2011. Your choice.

I am almost sure that I replied with your number assignment (#78), that is my usual procedure. However, I did get it and 78 is your number. The book is finished, as far as the writing and 99% of the editing. I am down to the glossary, the index, the cover, and the sizing and formatting of over 300 photos. There was a crappy way I could have done all this and I would have gone to print months ago, but George Fels (my main editor) is too much of a perfectionist to allow me to take that path.

Not to speak for Freddie, but the pre-publication 100 signed and numbered copies are long gone. I'm sure he'd be glad to have you order the regular trade edition through his web site.

Actually, I havent offered the book for sale yet on my sites or stores. I still havent decided on a size or cover format.

I havent put the books out to the general public yet, but what is available now are a limited supply of 8.5 x 11 proof soft-cover copies, 386 pages. The proofs are pretty much the same exact thing I sent out to the 100 pre-pubs except the proofs are larger size. A proof is a sample issue of what you are contemplating publishing.

I am charging $50 + $4 shipping for a proof and I will throw in a companion DVD. Diana Hoppe's, "The Road Scholars," retail on Ebay $20. It is a DVD with candid interviews of 8 of the hustlers featured in the book.

The book isnt even available on my website yet. you would have to contact me via PM or email me at bankingwiththebeard@comcast.net
