I'm not 100% on this...but I am pretty sure he was being facetious.
Either that, or he has 2 very strong fingers.

Man JB, with all the enemies you make on your own,
I dunno why you keep taking up arms for this Roy guy and generate even more![]()
OK.. who wants action...
A Roy thread.. one of two things is going to happen...
Roy will e-mail this site and threaten legal action and claim his communication was confidential and should not be posted and threaten to sue...
OR John Barton Caplin Collins Chin will come here and say that Roy is his best bud ever, and the OP must have done something to make Roy mad?
1:2 on the money...

What I find kind of funny is that SOME of the people who are so quick to jump on Roy for being "mean" in email have no problem at all being nastier to me on this forum in public every day. They also have no problem with anyone else being nasty and mean to me
It probably has nothing to do with Roy selling a bunch of his cases.
You want it summed up. A few years ago at the SBE there was literally a ban on large dealer cases on the floor unless you were a dealer. Do you know why? A certain dealer that over hear Russ Espiritu trying to make a cue sale and takes the person away from Russ and shows him a cue in his 12x24.
This same "big" time dealer that stocks everything, pumps money into the industry, bla bla bla... can't even afford a booth at the biggest show of the year. Then has the audacity to trunk deal, the very thing he says everyone else is.
We won't even get into stealing internet graphix...

Think of how it feels when someone treats you like crap on the forum and Wilson say (or implies)
"well JB was in the wrong, so he brought it on himself, I don't see any problem here. Carry on."
That's probably how it feels when someone gets treated like garbage by roy and you stick up for him :/
Pointing out that other people act like jerks doesn't mean it's ok.
Two wrongs don't make a right... right?
Sorry that you take such great offense at that. I really can't stop you from being outraged to the point that you are outraged all I can do is report my own experience and if you think it's ONLY because of Roy being a dealer then you're dead wrong.
I make a one liner comment, somewhat tongue in cheek, and you call me outraged? You got serious issues dude, really. You must be watching to many Chinese soap operas, you're off the charts with the drama.
Amazing response from Roy at IndyQ. All he had to do was ignore the OP or say thanks anyway. To feel the need to attach him for not wanting to send his cue is borderline crazy. Roy must be massively insecure about himself. He actually tells on himself by reacting that way. Everything he says to the OP is really all about who he is, an asshole himself. And yes I would say that to his face if he ever confronted me. I'm no keyboard warrior.
Yes that would have been the wiser course but you know sometimes people say things in anger that they shouldn't say in the way they said it.
All the keyboard psychology is really funny though. I never knew we had so many trained psychologists and psychiatrists on this forum.
Everyone here sees one side, believes it to be 100% true and then psychoanalyzes the person who is not here.
Innocent until guilty only applies when it's you being accused I guess otherwise it's guilty upon accusation.
What I find funny is that all these "tough" people on here who constantly tell me to suck it up and ignore the "mean" people go completely bonkers about how awful it is when Roy is mean to someone in email. Yet every day on this forum people are meaner to each other and that's totally cool.
No one has the stones to tell the OP to suck it up and stop whining to the board because he didn't get the warm and fuzzy response he wanted. Granted the response is overly harsh, not friendly, not courteous and unprofessional, not denying that at all. But I find the double standard being displayed by many participants in this thread to be frustrating and amusing at the same time. Like Fast Eddie I am also a student of human moves.
(not ragging on you personally Jay, you and me are cool even if we don't fully agree about the BB situation, I think however you know what it's like to stick up for your friends who haven't always acted the "right" way, the other BB comes to mind.)
I disagree and probably would require the item be in my hands, if it was a service I offerred.
I also know the proper use of 'w/hole'...and it isn't in an email to a customer, paid or not.
I understand where Roy is coming from.
People call and come up to me all the time with questions about cues.
My typical response is to get the **** out of my face before I shoot you in the head, then
I drag them around the room by the nostrils just to make sure they are paying attention.
That's how you deal with people.
Thats Im glad why call instead asking you in person. Thank god I live in Indiana and not in Colorado.
