JB stoops to new lows

To each of the active posters in this thread:

I've never met JB, nor any of the other posters in this thread. I shot the slomo video for JB, but otherwise, I am uninvolved in this discussion.

With that said,

I humbly ask each of you to cool off, just a little bit. Throwing names/slurs around like that could easily get you banned, even if you aren't directing them to anyone in particular.

The AZB forum is where I find my best friends, including all of you. I'll admit that I enjoy a little drama from time to time, but the last few posts have gone just a little bit too far, in my opinion.

If you would like to discuss racial slurs, drone strikes, the war, or 9/11, feel free to do so in NPR. I believe the rules are quite a bit looser over there.

I might even read some of those threads, for my own education. But none of that stuff has anything to do with case-making, or pool, in any way.

Don't get yourselves banned. Please.

This is not a threat, just a request.

If you want to continue this thread, please talk about cases. Heck, talk about JB's marketing if you want. He can handle it. If you'd like to critique my SloMo video, feel free to do so.

But if I may, I'd like to ask that we try to keep it clean.

No blame, no offense to anyone. I know this is a heated discussion. I'm just making a polite request, to all of you, including JB.

I don't really need a dogpile here. I appreciate that you approve but it doesn't require more people intervening.

The guys at the center of this thread have a lot of shaky history and may never see eye to eye on anything.

Disagreeing and debating are all good but allowing things to deteriorate into what we see here is unacceptable.

Please try hard to be considerate of each other (I know, I know) and especially, considerate of Mr. Wilson whom I believe just received back his guitar all nicely tuned.

He will use it.

I started writing my post before you got involved. I'm sorry it took too long for me to edit the typos.

I think mostly Spanish lullabyes then once they become sufficiently tired, <<<<<El Kabong !!!>>>, they're put to sleep.

Thanks KC. I agree. I was just trying to help. From what I've read in the past, sometimes a little "chill" post like mine (or yours) can actually help cool things off.

I didn't mean to offend anybody.

There was no offense intended for anyone, including Mr. Wilson. I will take my WARNING from him and stay out of any conflicts from now on. They are obviously none of my business.

I'll just stick to photo and video work.

Yikes! I get it now: El Kabong. :o

You know, most folks don't know what Mr. Wilson looks like underneath that mask, but I was able to find a photo of him after a lot of searching on Google.

Here he is all dressed up in his Sunday best, sans the mask, of course. :grin-square:

I will have to peruse my picture files. I think I have a picture of Keith with quite a few folks in the pool world. :o

It's hard to get a picture of Mr. Wilson. He's like to fly under the radar with that guitar of his. :wink:
 
Sorry, no pics with Keith.

I did have another friend stop by for a visit last weekend though.

Listen, for the record, the slur was "chink nit". My friend mentioned that with all the yelling and commotion, he wasn't sure he heard you say that, but that doesn't mean you didn't. MY WIFE heard it, though. I'll tell you why I believe her- she doesn't play Pool, doesn't know the jargon and had to ask me what a "nit" was. How does someone that doesn't know a term/jargon, make up something using that term??

Also, for the record, I don't need some pathetic "play the race card" move with you, Johnny (or anyone). I've done well for myself, in life, without any need for the race card, why start now?? That is just some JB kooky spin, to deflect the issue. Par for the course, with you.

Let's take it to court. Send me the address you want the papers served to.

We will let the court decide whether you have the right to defame me in this manner or not. Your wife can testify under oath as will my friends and myself.

We will just let the judge decide. No need to continue the back and forth. I didn't call you a chink, chink-nit or any racial slur at all. But since you are at this point fully invested in this lie you can swear to it under oath.

When I post a long line of affidavits from people who will swear that they have never heard me use any such terms perhaps the court will be sufficiently convinced that I did not suddenly start using them just for you.
 
He should be using the time creating more of his own designs, instead of worrying about Jack's designs. Justis cases appeal to a certain crowd, and that certain crowd really don't buy a look a like case.

That is actually not a true statement.

I really like the look of Jacks case and they appeal to me very much.

I will be purchasing one of these cases from JB once they become available.
