Looking to replace some parts on the beast (pooltable.kirchelconsulting.com). Need some new cushions which means I need some cloth also.

I would like to get some super speeds if possible although I am having a problem finding some for a reasonable price. (maybe a room operator could hook me up with a set? wink wink) Or can someone recommend a comparable set for a 9 foot table, K66 profile. I have championships on them and after 13 years I have a dead rail. This time I want to use a better quality product and something that will play like whats at the hall.

The bed cloth is fine so All I need is some rail cloth. Looks like Gorina is no longer in Chicago (or the united states for that matter). Can someone recommend a place that would only sell enough granito basalt for the rails?

Thanks in advance for the recommendations!

Sounds like you need a good table mechanic rather than supplies. You can buy the name brand stuff but if its not set up correctly, then what difference does it make?

I don't mean to sound cocky but did you look at the website? Well yea I do... :)

Your rails if I'm correct in reading your blue prints are 1 11/16" thick, with a 20 degree bevel for the cushions. Your table would play much better if you were to install K55 cushions and change the bevel to 24.5 degrees. You have the wood in the sub-rails to make that change over because the K55 cushions are an 1/8" wider than the K66 cushions you used last time.

Meulers sells Granito by the way.

Is the k55 profile better than the k66? And why?

Because it's more designed for the thicker rails than the K66 cushions are, and because they're thicker from front to back, it's harder to bottom out a hard bank when using them. If your rails would have been thinner, then I'd have recommended the K66 over the K55, but they're not.

Is the amount of improvement worth the amount of time needed to reface the rails?

Ok, another idea... Because there arnt any issues with my rail cloth could I just replace the rails and reattach the rail cloth? Has anyone ever done this?

Also... Has anyone had experience with the cushions listed on muellers besides the artimus? Recommend or not?

No, the rail cloth and facings would have to be changed out.
