I believe that was DC and they did shoot it...I also believe there was another pit or 2 killed there/ then, as well.
At least they didn't shoot him.
My bad...as a dog lover I wouldn't have posted it had I known that.
I think you would have shot them too. As I recall, there was a pack of them terrorizing the neighborhood and they did attack peiople.
I love dogs too, but they needed dead.
I hear ya....my neighbors daughter was dating a guy for the longest time that owned a small boxer. Well one day the wifey went to take our 2 papillons on a walk and came back and for some reason the boxer was able to get out through the door (must not have been shut all the way). It attacked one of our dogs biting its neck. The only reason our dog probably survived is because the spot on its neck that was bitten was where the metal clasp of his collar was...the clasp busted, but it at least prevented the boxer from getting actual skin just long enough for my wife to break it. We are very fortunate.

Figures. I should have known better than to think, in this day and age, a cop could encounter a dog without shooting it. I guess if it was a stray pack terrorizing the neighborhood I can cut them a little slack though.
