Do I have this right? Was this thread completely quiet for more than 40 hours before your post above?
Just hate to see it die, eh?

Are you serious?!?! This guy got horsef*cked by Glen and you still defend him? It is laughable that you red repped the other guy on the past thread now that this has come out. I find it hilarious that Glen is now the master critic of customer service judging from his post on here this week:

How do I best fix this? I've tried driving wooden shims between the slate and the support wood (1x6" pine that crosses the table's main long supports at the slate seams), but that's had no effect. I assume that the shims are simply compressing the support wood and not offering any upward lift to the slate.
Do I need to adjust the rail bolts? (i.e. are the rails leveling the slates at their intersections?)

To fix it right, the table needs to be taken apart down to the slates. Then the slates need to be leveled correctly, superglued at the seams so they won't come apart again, then put the table back together. If someone was paid to do this work in the first place, have them come back and fix the problem!!!....at no charge!!!

Funny that Glen thinks other mechanics should be held to a higher standard than him. He's called anyone who challenged him a liar, but has proven who the liar is through his actions over the last couple years. Kill this thread?!? I wish AZ would make this a sticky so others, besides the 20k plus views in this thread, knew how Glen treated people. Flame away Kickin Chicken, but you're falling on deaf ears.
