Myself and a large group of investors on the east coast are wanting to invest large sum of monies to pool!
Specifically we're looking to contribute to online steams - The Action Report and Inside Pool - challenge matches and tournaments. We highly respect their productions and want to make it better, if possible. We're looking to talk about more frequesnt streams.
We are also klooking into other productions as well.

We want the highest definition to every game. Our analysis has shown the highest defintion has brought more viewers, even with lesser "talent" or "names."
Our goal is pool's highest viewership online, smashing previous results.
We will minimize PPV costs using investor contributions and eventually advertisement.

Most experts view the new WPBL as a failure. We do as well.
Little about the game is appetizing to viewers in a case study, from beginners to advanced.
The viewership is extremely low.

The games we support for online viewership are 9ball, and 10ball. And to a lesser extent, 8ball.
Bonus ball has no future in pool.

We are offering a "friendly" wager. $10,000 bucks friendly.
If the WPBL is operating profit in 2015, we will pay. (We will hash out the details, when/if they're ready).
It's a long way away 2015, but we're extremely confident it won't last anywhere near that.

Further insight, we feel the WPBL is making a mockery of pool.
The sooner professionals realize this, the quicker they can support the games that have passed the test of time, and on the track that makes all parties richer while growing the game.

We will review online results.
And we're very confident when the numbers return, the state of pool with be in a much better place. Perhaps prepared for television talks.

Once again, the key is we have a large team of serious investors who love the game.
If interested in getting involved, you can contact me:

Thank you,

Kevin

I'm personally tired of watching the same guys win 9 and 10 ball. I'm not some bonus ball nut but its nice to see people have to use all aspects of there game.

Pool will always be dead because players are boring, dull, pusses, and have that "stare into space" lifeless look.
More? Sure... Always mad, immature, certainly selfish, not approachable, usually unintelligent.

Have you heard some of these guys in the booth? Embarrassing.
There are exceptions of course, but the lack of "personality", will always prevent pool from being on TV.

Some of my thoughts on this topic! I hope this helps your venture and investors!

1st: You must acknowledge that the game is INTERNATIONAL!!! By that statement, you must make or pick a game that everyone INTERNATIONALLY understands and are familiar with!!! 10 ball is played most INTERNATIONALLY!!!

2nd: Like poker, you must cut and paste together footage from the event. A best of the best 20 minute clip with analysis! That is what poker does by showing ALL the tough beats and the satellite tables not just the MAIN table only!!!

3rd: You need more cameras, one or two on every table!!! You need a good editing crew and commentators to add to your production after the match commentary is essential.

4th: A team scenario should definitely be explored. I believe three man teams are good but one man per discipline. One man for 10 ball, one man for One Pocket, One man for banks! Coaching allowed! NO MORE SWITCHING PLAYERS DURING MATCHES!

5th: There should be stables of players! Bugsy promotions has its team of Biado, Orcollo & Alcano/ England has appleton, shaw & Buford/ Europe has Feijen, Mika & Souguet/ America north has Mars running a stable of Alex/ Corey/ lombardo/ America south team scorpion stable archer/hatch/daulton/ Team Rickie P aka Richie Rich Cliff,Shuff, stevie Moore & etc!!!!

6th: work with the leagues to have them purchase access codes as prizes and give aways to its members!

7th: A dress code like ultimate 10 ball is essential and NO ONE complained about the uniforms since the money was there, they were happy!

The U.S. military is in decline because it switched from the mode of transportation "that has passed the test of time"...the horse, used successfully by armies for a thousand years.

I love playing 8-, 9- and 10-ball, but they've had their chance to get a wide viewership, and failed. Is BB the answer? Maybe, maybe not.

Love it! Great feedback. Most of what you said is what pool needs. Good post.

Baseball hasn't changed in 150 years! Mariano last night was priceless!
Did ya catch it!? Best ever. Not many dry eyes I would imagine.
That is good stuff.

Military and pool, umm not a great analogy :(

Tap Tap Tap

You make some good points, I love watching pool but have become bored with the predictability of 9 ball. 10 ball, especially on the Big Foot table is usually good, I would love to see more 8 ball matches.

I never have enjoyed, and no longer watch, 1 pocket or bank pool. Straight pool with a time clock might pick it up a bit and make it watchable. American rotation has some merit. Bonus Ball has been the most interesting to watch because of the mix of strategy required and the team concept with the players mic'd. I would still take 8 ball over BB though.

That said, this week end I will watching the ppv for the US open 8 ball, might watch the 9 ball and would not be interested in the 1 pocket at all no matter who was playing. The next week I will be splitting my watching time between the Earl/shane ppv which I have already signed on for and the return of Bonus Ball.

I think you post is unrealistic, i do not the TAR is looking for investors they seem to be doing fairly well with the current business plan. If you are representing a group that wants to support and distribute high quality pool then perhaps you should focus on that rather than striking out at Bonus Ball. Bonus Ball will be whatever they are with or without you and obviously it is without you. If you are going to invest in pool then I look forward to whatever you produce or support in the future. Good luck to you Kevin.

Well I do believe that the next big PPV/Stream Challenge match will be held on AUG 2,3 &4 Races to 30 each day playing 8, 9 and 10 ball on a bar table featuring Shane VB and Earl Strickland. If you go to POVPOOL.COM and purchase the weekend pass you get a Kamui tip voucher that is good for any Kamui tip including the new Kamui Clear (Retail $30)

So if you would like to be involved somehow we are always looking for sponsors and maybe we can give you some more info as well on results etc. You can contact me at 480-612-7732 or at cantrillmark@yahoo.com

Coz you are full of shit with this thread.

I am pretty sure you are an idiot. I can't even make sense of your quoted question.

Who is 'their'? :slap:

Maybe I should have said "contribute" instead of "invest"
We are not looking for monetary kickback or anything like that.
We are looking to put money back into POOL and not FAKE POOL which is exactly what WPBL is!!

We most certainly be "investing" in this match. Someone explain to blackballed that we are "CONTRIBUTING" to this PPV match.
And that he shouldn't speak on THEIR behalf.
Understand English blackball??

Your acting like you want to invest in pool and then call players boring d..k headed idiots. I have a lot of friends that are pro players and I don't think they would want to be invested on by someone who thinks this of them. You sir are a d bag
