Joint Pin -> Joint Protector question

Cue has a 3/8 x 12 pin. Since JPs are not commonly made for this pin, is there another pin size whose joint protectors will fit the 3/8 x 12 pin well enough?

I've never seem 3/8-12 pins

I used 3/8-12 on some of my early early cues. 3/8-10 or 3/8-11 won't work on it.
If you have some one to make you a set, I can supply some 3/8-12 threaded rod.
Mine was a rolled thread, not the modified type now popular in 3/8-10

TAD's

J&J sells TAD Cues, and, TAD's Big Pin /Flatfaced cue's are 3/8" x 12 THD.
so, makes sense... :smile:

It's a cake to make 3/8 12 stem out of alum or brass.
SS woild be much harder.
