Is this a case just here in Croatia or everywhere else too ???
So,in the last 15 years almost all the time,not always but mostly all the time, some morons(man & woman) without any brain and without any knowledge of the game of POOL work as a secretary at Croatian Pool Association.And seems as more stupider you are more successful you can become.
I would like to hear all your thoughts about this specific topic !!!!
I would like to add that I am aware that at your place he/she can't work as a secretary at Croatian Pool Association,but can at your domestic.

where i play pool the pool rooms are barley open so we dont have secretary's or anything like that.
 
Didn't say now but was talking about the most of the time in the last 15 and maybe 20 years.So,I wasn't thinking about anybody specific but about those who are that kind,stupid and with no brain.
Here,people will know exactly who am I talking about.
Hope so.
 
More opinions I would appreciate on this.

Do you know that it is not politically correct to use the word "retard"? You can express what you want without having to use this expression. Just making you aware of this.

However, on the topic you bring up; it is common to see people in some organizations that are not cut-out for the positions they are occupying....and yes it has happened in Pool around South America.....so, you are not alone.....

Sounds like the Peter Principle.
Apparently there are people who reach their level of incompetency working in a pool room.
One night at Table Steaks in Denver I complained about the wings..."yeah, the wings are tough action here"
One morning at Felt in Denver, measureman & I each ordered the same breakfast, he got bacon, no hash browns, I got hash browns,
no bacon..."that's the way we do it here"
 
My secretary keeps trying to buy me beer. But she's married.

I'm pretty sure THIS IS WHAT'S WRONG WITH POOL!!!!

Ok. I know that neither Bob Morton nor Al Tirk are as you describe. Both have been on the board on the Canadian Billiards & Snooker Association ( www.cbsa.ca). Al runs an exceptional pool hall in Saskatoon ( www.snookershack.ca ) and worked hard for the good of the sport both here, and nationally from what I understand. I cannot comment on any others associated with the CBSA.

If you mean office-staff secretary then I doubt that the CBSA has any, I know we have none in the local association, and can guarantee that neither Al nor Bob are inclined to hire dummies.

Well,they cannot do anything what can piss me of,since I am my own man and don't depend on no one there, at Association,I mean.
However,I am sorry this is how it is for the most of the time and because shits like this are happening not just in Croatia,but in most of other countries as well,but not in all, pool cannot get on the higher positions and levels which deserves and because of those people who are unable to promote it on the wright way.pool rooms are closing because people loose interest because nothing is going on for years,it is but in wrong way.
I don't talk just about secretaries but about all unproductive people at all positions.
There is no vision for pool,at least I don't see it.Everything I can see regarding to pool at this moment isn't very sharp and clear at all,not in the way that I could say if we follow this,this way then we will be able to succeed in this,in that and other plans we have.Because there are no any plans.I don't see them.Only,from while to while I could hear some players talk about this or that.
