I scored another Searing conversion. It arrived today and plays incredible. Dennis confirmed that yes, it is one of his cues. Hope y'all like the pics. You may have seen it around here lately, but here it is again.

Thank you gentlemen for the kind replies, I'm loving this one. The next Searing I buy(sooner/later) will be the highly sought after signature and date in the forearm. I've got about 5 in mind, but I'm runnin' outta cash so I may be forced to wait. Patience is a virtue, but it's a virtue that I don't have...lmao.

Nice looking indeed.Was the cue signed by Dennis? If not, it was made under Dennis' supervision in his shop by one of his helpers. Dennis told me that only the signed cues were made exclusively by him. All others just have the S logo in the butt cap.

Yeah, hence the name conversion. I do believe that Dennis was hands on with both conversions that I have, not sure how much was done by an apprentice if you will. Dennis told me that he hasn't done a conversion cue since the late 90's. I guess that's why they have a good price tag, too. He's not doing them anymore and the master had his hands on it. These cues cost a pretty penny, believe me.

I don't have all the facts about the history of Searing cues just yet, but I've had a few good conversations with him in the last few weeks. I've learned quite a bit about them and I know that perfection is what he demands of himself.

I think Dennis built a titleist conversion for Jack Justis recently and delivered it at SBE in April.

Greg, I gave up on trying to own as many South Wests as you. My new goal is to have more Searings than you and conversions most certainly count.
