Man, league can be a blast, no? I see that you thought you'd scoot on over to the MSSS division this year. Maybe you should've stuck with the Masters division. :) Luke's been doing pretty well it seems. I'll still take weight from you, though! How's that work again? We spend a year to discuss the details and then somebody's backer pulls out? :grin:

I think he's been playing down in Salem again or something. I haven't seen him around here in a little while, but I just recently started playing BCA at the pool hall again.

Yikes, just saw that you had to play Sean Lewis in your last 9BC match. Another strong player and from what I know one hell of a nice guy.

From my experience it's the powerful people that don't complain. I've been around a lot of habitual complainers and they're all fearful and weak. The top professional players are very mentally tough. Saying they're "terrified" is like saying Charlie Sheen is shy.

It probably helps to make millions hand over fist. Not sure $30k a year really touches that mark. Yeah, from my experience it's also the people in power/powerful people that don't complain. Slowly losing touch with reality there? :confused:

Edit: Here's an example.. I doubt that the people ruin..err..running BB are complaining about not getting their paychecks. Must be because they're mentally tough..

I almost forgot. The Pool Player's Bible states that "the meek shall inherit the Earth." ;)

Players like Daz, Stevie Moore and Larry Nevel who can afford to leave their current situation, will typically jump ship first. The others will jump ship later as they have bills to pay and their own lives to live.

Many players want to leave asap ,the problem they now face is their leases.Some have a 4 or 6 month lease.They are really in a financial bind created by BB false promises.

I'm not taking this info as a sign that he's given up on BB or that BB is dead.

Maybe BB is changing their schedule so that players only need to be in Vegas once a month or so. (and I reserve the right to tell ya'll "I told you so") ;)
