Earl and Shane scotch doubles

i have had SVB as a scotch partner playing one hole it was great, we had fun. he is a good partner to have!!!! We were playing small like $50/game maybe $50 a man cant recall, we broke even after 4 or 5 hours.
SVB has monster respect for Earl. As we all should, Earl is one of the most accomplished players ever. I dont know Earl, perhaps I will someday. What ever the case I just know he can play.<-----i'm being modest.

I think they would be a hell of a 1P team too, earl plays 1P just fine and so does shane, so cant take that game out, Banks would be cool too.
Honestly I think they would play good together, Like I said I dont know Earl, I know Shane real good and he is a great partner, I think they would do good as a team. And we will see them do just that sooner than you might think. :grin:
I too think this would be awesome to sweat. But... We've discussed this, IIRC with JCIN and others. The economics with twice the expense is an issue.
yup it would be costly and not sell double the PPV,

That would be epic. If these monsters were all in town for some other event, it could maybe happen then. But still, there'd only be one player talking amongst this crew.
vs Bustamante and Alex. it would be a nice match, 10 ball.
Earl strikes me as one of those guys who will get in a funk if his teammate ever disagrees with him,
or if he disagrees with their advice and then misses the shot. I think Earl can put away his ego though if
there's a strong leader/player to sort of guide him and talk him through the pissy moments.
The thing is, Shane will be quiet 99% of the time and I think Earl might play better with someone
who will verbally steer him away from these funks.

Efren is the best one pocket player of all time. Alex just spanked, and I do mean spanked Scott Frost who is far from a slouch himself.
I honestly think E/A could give up the break to E/S.
I wouldn't empty out on it, but I would give you action. With them giving the break, I think it would be slightly better than even money for me.
It would really be awesome.
If Scott Frost would partner with SVB, I think it would be close to even. Scott is a one pocket specialist and would be a great match partner with SVB.
What do you think about that?

Well, we're talking fantasy here. Nonetheless it's titilating conversation. Earl ain't no slouch in one hole, but likely would get tortured by Scott in a long race.
Yet, I don't know any better partner than SVB for Earl to mesh.
What say the peanut gallery - who would you ride in this handicapped fantasy match?
Earl & SVB vs Efren & Alex one hole, Earl & SVB get the breaks.
Depends on the money they playing for. If it was 100-500K or more, I would like Efren and Alex. Simply because this would keep Efren interested. And in that case, I would like E/A myself.
If it is for doughnuts, I would take E/S with the breaks.
That would be a great match... You could also toss Carlo Biado into the mix with the possible Phillipino duos.
What about Mika and Daz? Would be a great match... And it would have a bit of a Mosconi Cup feel to it.
