My personal fiasco dealing with Zinzola started in 2008. Thats when I bought this piece of **** from him.

[/URL] many calls and texts he agreed to replace the cue which he did ONLY 2 YEARS LATER.
In December of 2010 I sent it back to him because it was warped, and he said he would fix it......
May of 2011...I asked wheres the cue, and Zinzola said its done and going out in a day or two.
January 2011....I asked wheres the cue
August 2011....still waiting
November 2011......??????????
December of 2011 I finally received the fixed cue which was a redo of the first mess.

December 2011, I emailed Zinzola that the cue still wobbles, what exactly did you fix? And I have sent it out to a very well respected cuemaker to look at it.

He then agreed to refund my $2,750 .......

So a month later he then begged me to take 2 cues instead of the money, AND AFTER HEARING HIM CARRY ON HOW CUEMAKING SUCKS AND ITS THE WORST DECISION HE EVER MADE....I FELT BAD AND AGREED (right here is where you say "Steve your an idiot"

Well here we are in Aug 2013 and no cues and no money and all I hear are people complaining about this guy.

Please pm me with any info on Zinzola

This is not news At All.
He is a perpetual liar and uses his family sob story all the time.
I have been fortunate enough to get back my refund but it wasn't easy. However I feel bad for my friends who got sucked into and they have about $10grand with that A$$!

People in AZ will chime in and say good things about him and but he is the last person I'd recommend for cues.

Wow im far from a cue expert,and I mean far,but damn it seems like you have one of the nicest collections in the world. Hard to believe a cuemaker wouldn't want to make it right with you immediately.
 
I glad you decided to post it Steve, everyone should know what they get into before hand.

I've got two of his cues I love and I have another one comn to my wife he's a good guy all around but its all about how u talk to him if u talk down to him he will slow down and the more u push the less u get I'm sorry for ur bad experience but always remember patience is a virtue I've talked to people about cues takn seventeen years for a cue I'm not bad mouthing anyone its just what I've heard doesn't mean its true could be just another pool story I'm sure tony will come through eventually but I've got some great custom cues but I still can't put tonys cue down its an addiction with great feedback on the hit with his shafts not a production ld but again sorry to hear about ur bad experience hopefully its works out for both of u to hash this thanx for listening
 
A buddy of mine has been waiting longer... Steve he did get the money to pay you... But instead he went on holiday!!!! To see how much of a lier this guy is... A few weeks ago my friend went to his house... Before knocking on the door.. He called n asked if cue was ready...tony replied" yes... I'm shipping today"...great news my pal thought... He then knocked on the door... Tony turned white in shock... Cue wasn't near to be ready.... This friend will be posting his fiasco soon...

Perhaps you should buy Steve out of his cue. Please read some of the other accounts in the other threads. I personally know a few of these customers and they are not "difficult customers" in the least. I'm shocked and appalled reading all this.

Roger, thanks for the sad story. Zinzola just keeps doing this to people and getting away with it. I heard the story direct from your source today. I hope he posts it up here soon.

Ralf, I am sorry that you got into this mess as well as all the others. Hopefully we will find a way to get this all worked out.
 
After the way he treated Mickey (tattoo) I will never own one of his cues! From him or from anyone else that bought it from him! He has no respect for his customers to post that crap in mickeys thread! Funny how Barry,Dennis, Tascarella , Mobley and many others are real nice guys and don't post crap about their customers I guess they have not reached Tony's level? Lol

No disrespect directly towards you.. Tony.Z is only a nice guy when he needs your money., afterward he couldn't careless what happens as long he got your money to feed his family. as far as talking nice towards him I will call that B.S. because I am 1000% sure anyone order a cue from T.Z. have or had been talking nice with him until he cross that line. T.Z. is straight up SCUMBAG, LIAR and a CON !!! I do admit his cue plays good but how the way he treat his customer like they owe it to him.
 
I feel bad for everyone that has had bad experiences with Tony. My one deal with him was positive. One of the best hitting cues I've ever played with... and I've played with a bunch of them.

Tony Zinzola just got too popular too fast and took too many orders. When some personal issues added to that he became overwhelmed and probably mishandled a lot of things. It's a shame that a cuemaker with so much potential talent had so many things go bad. At the time, I was impressed with just how nice and polite he was.

Here's wishing a good outcome for everyone involved in this mess... his customers and Tony himself.

Tonly just sent me a pm on Facebook, that said I was "a liar and a thief....it's coming"

So how do I interpret that........is everyone else that has chimed in liars and theifs.....or is it just me.

Should I believe whatever you say now....even tho you have been lying to me for 5 years.

tony......please come on here and explain to everyone why I am a liar and a thief.

Here my dealing with T.Z. is not a pleasant one at all, I will try to make this short. I order my cue back in March 2011 after the SBE show. before I actually put the order in with T.Z I called another well respected cue maker on the Northeast and he assured me Tony is a good guy and shouldn't have any poblem at all so I decided to give Zinzola a try. on May 16 of 2011 took a drive up to Zinzola shop to meet him to go over the design of my cue. T.Z. quoted the cue to be $3K with delivery date os SBE 2012 and send me an invoice on May 19, 2011 through paypal requesting 25% deposit along with the invoice he left a message stating if I can send him 50% deposit he will discount the cue by 10% which that what I did by sending him 50%
( $1350.00 ) deposit. between the time of my first cue order I have been back to his shop/house a few times and order another cue with him which we didn't settle on the price yet for the 2nd cue.
On May 15, 2012 the well respected northeast cue maker calls me to warn me not to give Zinzola anymore money, few days later Tony Z calls me to ask for a favor telling me how he and Steve * Tikkler * have some problem and see if I can help him out with the financial issues, I ask him how much he needs and his reply was $4000.00 suppose to paid Tikkler back and implied that would cover both of my cue order. keep in mind that I already had a pre-warning from another maker not to give him any more money but I try to be nice about it and agreed to pay for my first cue in full to help him out. Zinzola send another paypal invoice on May 21, 2012 which I send him the money to paid Tikkler back, 2 weeks later I find out he didn't pay Tikkler but took the money to go on vacation with his family. another member here * Jive * is my dear friend have an order with Zinzola but Tony keep giving us all the run arounds, by end of 2012 Jive decided to cancel his order and ask for his deposit back and told Zinzola to send me the deposit, sometime around Jan 14-25 Tony send a check in the amount of $700.00 using his WIFE bank check, at first I didn't think anything wrong with it and deposit the check to find out it will bounced, Zinzola calls me on Feb 1, 2013 in the evening when I was in Arizona with 2 well respected cue maker sitting right next to me to find out it was a fake check, he gave me some B.S story about his wife used the money etc...... told him he needs to make it right and few days pasted he did deposit $730.00 after a long conversation.
Sometime around end of March, 2013 I demand an answer from Tony about my order which he ask for 3 week extension, I told him we will talk 3 weeks later and than 1 extension after another with different B.S. excuses., On May 2013 he told me the cue is done and I ask for a tracking number, this MOFO SCUMBAG went into USPS to grab a fake tracking number to send me which the package was never send out, towards the end of May 2013 I demand prove of pic's the cue is being done, Zinzola took 1 side of the buttsleeve picture to send to me as a prove by misleading me and waited couple more weeks with same B.S. excuses again, finally I had enough of his deceiving excuses one morning when directly to the airport and brought a ticket to Boston, call him 20min before arriving his house he still keeps on lying about the cue is done and ask me if I can come back the next day instead which I refused and told him I am leaving on the same day flight back to NY that when the truth came out the cue is no where near 50% done, show up at his house while his kids and wife at home, I still give his family some respect by not turning on him, went down to his shop to show me the disappointed cue as he made promise he would finish the cue and deliver by July 15, 2013 until today still nothing. As much as he claims he runs an real estate business buying and selling resturants, is all full of shit, this MOFO wants to take people money and thinks is okay because he thinks we cue buyer or collector owe it to him.
Now, I know some of you gonna try to defend this scumbag by saying there always 2 or 3 side to the story, which I don't give a F*#K about, this is my side of the story, I have all the paypal prove and all the text message prove along with the fake tracking number and misleading pic's.

This thread sounds like u are all best friends so all of u r against tony I know tony personally and I've never had a problem with him because I talk to him like a human if all of this is true I will apologize for him because he's my friend and all of are started to hurt my feelns talkn crap about him and again I'm sorry too hear all this so sorry guys
