Gene got a real opportunity and missed a ball badly that he nailed earlier.
He looks rattled and is making poor choices.
 
Might be a blessing, this has been like watching cruelty to animals :/
Not happy though it's been down for several minutes and they don't seem to know why.
I don't wanna watch day 2 if it's gonna be a mix of slaughter/blackouts.

I really had my hopes up when gene jumped out early and looked ready to play.
This was gonna be "they all underestimated the old guy".
Now it's gonna be 10,000 dudes all saying "I told you so" on here
and bragging on the side bets they won.

Actually, since the stream was the driving factor for this I hope they stopped the match. I was enjoying the current events.

Its common knowledge that Bartrum plays better than Gene....so why are they playing a game that favors Bartrum(10 ball).....on Bartrums table.....in Bartrums home room...with no spot.....with long races.....that are the best out of 3 ...just in case Gene got lucky. The bizzare part being Bartrum is no stranger to getting a spot from guys that are better players. I don't have any ax to grind...but Gene never had a chance in hell. I'm not sure what the point was when the outcome was literally pre-determined anyways.

Yeah, I almost talked myself into betting on this....I finally sat back, and said who is gonna win ??... and why am I so intent on betting on Geno ??. cause of emotion, that's why... Gene is a great guy and player and I wanted him to pull one out for all the old timers... but decided maybe I should just hope for the best and NOT risk any cash on it.... best move I've made all week :)
 
He's not totally giving up. Won one... played safe... chris's counter left a hair of the 1 ball, like 50 degree cut over 7 feet... gene nailed it just to show he can. Another safe exchange, Gene has a tester frozen to the rail... no good. Chris working his way through a tough out to make it 18-6.
